Stewart street Wollongong is probably best known for it a two orthodox church’s but the hidden gem is Bucks Cafe. The shop front is deceptive because what looks like quite a small venue actually provides a nice amount of outdoor seating and a very generous indoor area. The owners and staff are the friendliest folks you could meet and will make you feel welcomed with proper south coast hospitality. The coffee is on point. We had a cappuccino and an iced latte. The cap was perfect in flavour and temperature and the iced lattes didn’t skimp on coffee worth a generous triple shot! Perfect! The little kitchen managed to pump out some excellent food and then serving sizes provide real value for money. The Brekky and lunch options are varied and interesting and remember to check out their continually updated specials. Brekky is served all day and lunch from midday. Worth checking out. The location is also away from the hustle and crowds of Crown and Keira Streets.

Absolutely amazing. It was a busy Sunday morning but the food was fresh, coffee and tea were amazing. Food came out as quick as can be expected with how busy they were, and came out super fresh and hot. Wife had one of the best eggs benny ever. I had the Bucks Gourmet Toastie. 11/10 with tender steak bits, onion, rocket, provolone cheese, solid, BBQ sauce on a ciabatta roll. Holy crap it was so good and filling i had to take half of it home. The staff are friendly and kind and have excellent customer service. Pricing is perfect and atmosphere is excellent, feeling comfortable and relaxation. This place sets the bar at the highest level for us compared to every other cafe in Sydney and the Greater Western Sydney. Well done Bucks Cafe. Well Done. 👌👌👏👏

I ordered “Nutella pancakes” and received 4 small hotcakes which looked and tasted like they were pre bought from Woolies, as well as a smidge of Nutella at the bottom of the plate, which had to be scraped off and added to the “pancakes”. Very disappointing, tasted like store bought hot cakes or maccas hot cakes. Did not look freshly made. A very small portion, for a second I thought I accidentally ordered from the kids menu. It also cost $17 which was definitely not worth it. You can see in the pic there is practically no Nutella. I’m sure the other food on the menu is fine but I am disappointed in these pancakes.

We had a beautiful weekend away at Thirroul and decided to stop here and have breakfast and a coffee before our trip home. And wow what an Awesome time. We sat soaking up the warmth of the sunshine and talking before our meals and coffee arrived which was great. The food was delicious and heavenly, great prices and huge servings, the Coffee exceeded my expectations and was above and beyond tasty. Atmosphere Brilliant, Service and Hospitality Exceptional , Food devine and prices reasonable. I recommend this cafe to all who live or visit Wollongong on the South Coast . Thank you to the owner and his fantastic workers who all together as a team made this a Wonderful...
