Second time visiting this shop as we drop by Wollongong. A small family-run business conveniently located near Westfield shopping centre. I ordered a special beef Pho, and my hubby ordered a crispy chicken red rice (I.e. rice with tomato sauce). The soup of my beef pho was light and full of flavour. Unlike some pho that I had in the past, it's not too salty, and you know the broth doesn't have MSG as i didn't get thirsty after drinking the soup. The tendon and beef were very tender, and it's perfect with their home-made lemon grass chille sauce, which was so delicious that I had to buy some home (you have to ask the owner if you want to purchase it. $5 for a small container; $10 for medium-sized)

The crispy chicken rice was just as good. The chicken mandarinated thoroughly. The skin is thin and crispy.

It's a bargain for the quality and portion of food that we had.

The shop is not super fancy, but the owners are very hospitable. They try to make you feel welcomed and enjoy your meals despite their language barrier.

Will go back again in the future if we pass by...

I walked in it was quiet so the owner showed me to a long table on the right of the restaurant. I ordered and was waiting for my food. A family walked in with 6 people, and the female owner in front of everyone asked me loudly “ YOUNG LADY CAN YOU MOVR TO A SMALLER TABLE AND MAKE ROOM FOE THE FAMILY?!” As a customer, I feel horrified and extremely embarrassed. If I was asked privately and politely I probably would have happily agreed. It was not kind nor honourable. I have never been treated like this any where in else in my life before. This experience makes me want to cry.

I gave feedback to the owner as I was paying and described my experience. He merely said sorry. There was no sincerity, and no attempt to make amend.

I ordered lemongrass vermicelli salad -the food was also average. I never leave bad reviews but I think this experience might worth sharing, because anyone might be asked rudely to move table too. I would never ever return to this...

Great food, good coffee and friendly wait-staff. A lovely little find! It's been a little while since we've visited Wollongong and the last time we were there, the Vietnamese offerings weren't great. Having lived in Cabramatta/Marrickville/Bankstown , we think we have pretty high standards for Vietnamese food and really happy that Viet'z Eatery is now in service! We ordered a special beef noodle soup (Pho Dac Biet), crispy chicken with red rice (com ga gion) with extra fried egg and spicy beef noodle soup (Bun Bo Hue) with some Vietnamese style coffees (cafe sua da). My crispy chicken rice was nicely prepared, meat tender and skin very flaky and very aromatic. For the protein lovers, I recommend requesting an extra fried egg. My partner is a Vietnamese national and for her to say the Spicey Noodle Soup is "pretty good" is a huge shout out đŸ€Ł The coffees are a fair bit sweeter than I normally like however I find that is a common trait in Vietnamese coffees.

I always come to this restaurant and really enjoy the delicious food. The staffs are very friendly, generous and kind. So I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who would love to try Asian food! My favourite food are beef noodle soup and crispy roast pork roll. I just tried the Braised Beef Brisket with Carrot Noodles at this restaurant, and it was incredibly flavorful! The beef was tender and melt-in-your-mouth, while the carrots added a sweet, savory depth to the rich broth. The noodles had the perfect texture—chewy but not too soft. Highly recommend giving it a try if you love comforting, flavorful noodle soups. You won’t be disappointed!
