Continuum — Restaurant in Graz

Location: although it seems like a small pub from the outside, once you're in there it felt like a little labyrinth, with lots of new rooms to encounter. The interior had lots of wood furniture and was kind of dark. They try to make it funkier with loud music, some red and rose colored lights but it still feels like a hole. Great place if you want to get ready for a night out and grab some food before.

Food quality: you have a bunch of 'paper' in front of you categorised in 'Pizza, Burger, Salad, Eggdishes, Spätzlepfanne, Cocktail'. You cross the ingredients you wish to have on your menu. Usually 4 ingredients are included in the basic price and for the extra once you pay around 50 cents. The food I got was good and it only took them about 10-15 minutes to prepare it. The drinks were served within 5 minutes, although the restaurant was completely booked out.

Continuum is another of the Bausatz group restaurants. I'm not a big fan of this "make your own" meals, but if it works for someone, it works. Atmosphere here is cosy, more pub-like than a restaurant, service was ok, mostly young waiters. The problem comes when the food arrives. We had a burgers and boy - bun prefabricated and dry, meat patty prefabricated and dry, fries prefabricated, all of the food way to salty. Overall not matching restaurant quality for that price at all. But hey, if you're drunk at midnight and this is the only place you can eat it's sufficiant, Sunday afternoon sober was not a good time. It is nice that you can make your own personalized type of food, but it is a little bit hard if you don't speak german language. They have a mini-dictionary, but it dosen't include all the words, so you have to Google everything. We had a burger that wasn't great, an omelette that was so and so and a grill that was too oily. We liked the fried potatoes and the weizen beer. Stuff was friendly, but didn't speak English very well. They close the garden at 11PM, so you should stay directly inside if you come...
