Schlossberglift — Attraction in Graz

I was confused so here’s the explanation: there are 3 ways to get to Schlossberg: teleferico, 2 minutes from this location, or here by stairs, or by elevator. You can buy sigle way tickets for elevator, it is 2.40€ for adults, kids aged 6-14 is 1.70€. You can go down on a slide, kids loved it but is is only for kids 130cm+ so 2 older kids went back by slide and we came down by stairs with youngest one. A small square right by the main square with the town hall. It sits beneath the Uthrum clock tower. From the square you can take the elevator to the top of the hill, although we do not recommend it as it's really expensive and the line is very long. A better option is a modern cable car that is 100 meters away. The stairs are not an option since they are closed...

Aufpassen mit den Öffnungszeiten. Es ist zwar ohnehin schon unverständlich, wieso ein Lift beschränkte Betriebszeiten haben muss, da er am Ende ja nichts anderes macht als ein Lift in einem Haus, aber außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten ist nur der Lift ausgeschalten. Die Ticketautomaten und das Drehkreuz sind normal in Betrieb. Wenn man unachtsam ist kann es also passieren, dass man bezahlt und hinter dem Drehkreuz stecken bleibt, wenn man nur die Fahrt nach oben kauft. Dann wird man gezwungen über das Drehkreuz zu klettern und ist sein Geld los.

In den Betriebszeiten erfüllt er seinen Zweck und ist der schnellste Weg, um auf den Schlossberg zu kommen. Kostet pro Fahrt 2€ und der Anblick vom Felsen ist schon was Nettes. Zu Fuß wären es halt...
