Very ugly interior design , not good food and for bad food you always have feeling that is expencive, specially if portions are not big.I have ordered monk fish with baked potatoes. It was not more than 50gr of fish ,it was 100gr big bone, and potatoes were put in the owen not more than 5 min. They put cooked potatoes from the fridge but taste was not good because were not enough in the owen.If you need longer time for such potatoes, rather dont do it at all. And price was 15,90€ for less than 2 potatoes of a very bad taste and almost no fish in a very salty tomato sauce . My husband ordered escalope and potatoes. It was again the same potatoes and so little amount of meat.Italians would be ashamed if they know that this owner who is a waiter also, call this food italian. Those people were talking albanian,so,they just pretend to do real italian food. Therefore I mention that, otherwise real albanian food is even better than this local one.Austrian food is very well known as one of the worst in the world ( like german also) so Austrians are satisfied with everything which you offer them. They have good raw material but they dont know what to do with that. So,if you read that such a restaurant is the best in the city,be sure that something is very wrong. Read moreI spent a few days in Graz with fellow students drawing cityscapes, and il centro ended up being our little "home" in the city. The location is beautiful and the waiters and the owner are simply the nicest people. I would almost consider them our friends now:) We were allowed to sit at the restaurant multiple days to work, and ate lunch here every day. If we needed anything, it was already done before we could ask, for example blankets and a cup of tea when the weather turned a bit cold (and they insisted on us not paying anything for it). All in all a great place, and I absolutely recommend a visit - grab a pizza and a beer outdoors if the weather's fine, or a cup of tea in the cosy restaurant! (P.S. If you visit, look for the sketch i drew of the bar, it hangs on the wall:)) This will be one of the first places I visit when i...
Read moreGraz was full last week. No restaurants had any tables. But we called in on Il Centro on Saturday 7th and after much deliberation managed to offer us a table for 2 at 5pm. They were rushed off their feet the whole day and must’ve been exhausted yet gave us a warm greeting like we were regulars. Even though every table had a quick turnover, the meal was superb. We had a pasta dish followed by a light and fluffy Tiramisu for myself and my husbands favourite, panacotta. I would definitely eat there again should we return to Graz. Many thanks for a memorable meal on our last...
