Restaurant Olive Wiltener Platz`l — Restaurant in Innsbruck

Unfortunately disappointing, overpriced and missing love in food preparation.

We came for 2 pumpkin burgers with wedges + mango spritz + trifle for dessert. The burgers had no patty, just a slice of roasted Hokkaido pumpkin, which at best counts as a sandwich then. The bread was also too crispy, so the whole thing became unnecessarily dry and chewy. For ~16-17€, you should also get something in return.

The trifle is not a trifle. We had some sort of chocolate cream/mousse with a fruit layer on top. For ~8-9€ a total disappointment compared to other places' desserts.

In addition, the waitress also forgot to bring our drinks (beer and spritz, which is very good), although it wasn't busy anymore after noon. We received them after we reminded her. The water we ordered never came though.

The place is very nice to be at and has a good vibe. No questions asked. Unfortunately, the food needs...

A healthy gem in Innsbruck. When we arrived the place was crowded. They kindly offered us their last seats at the bar. The menu is small however with enough options. All the items are either vegan or vegetarian. They offer a good selection of wines, beers, and sodas. We chose the burger and a wrap to share. The two most poplar choices according to the owner and his staff. The plates arrived quickly. We loved every single bite. The burger and the wrap both came with an amazingly tasty salad. We almost wanted to lick our plates. At the end of the dinner the owner gave us the directions to his favorite hiking place, and we had the best coffee in Innsbruck up to now. Had a really nice time here! It’s a nice walk from the old town and totally worth it. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating and the atmosphere is quite comfortable. The tables aren’t squished too close and the food impressed as well. Even when being plant-based for s while, the ingredients used in their burger were a delight. Compared to other burgers I think it offered a lot more flavor complexity rather than just a junk food burger. Appetizers and desserts were also amazing. Sadly at the end of the night it felt like service kind of dropped out completely and we had difficulty getting s waiter to talk to. Might be an exception though.
