We were driving from lake Garda to Prague and, while passing Innsbruck, decided to stop for a lunch. Picked the place randomly on a Google Maps, review score was impressive and we went for it. We were were met by two ladies, who offered us a table, took an order and went to cook. Boy, what a great food we had. Normally, we prefer Indian kitchen and I am no expert in Persian food, but this was a great experience. Makhsus Safran and Dolme Barg were delicious. Mix of three grilled meat and tomatoes, really nicely done, not too spicy. Even our 3 and 6 years old kids were interested and tried most of the things on a plate. Nevertheless, we were told that we had to leave as other people or guests would be coming later. We didn't understand exactly what was meant and didn't have a chance to ask or finish our meal as our food was taken away immediately. Although we had paid for the food, we were not able to finish it. This experience was unpleasant for us, especially because we were hungry and did not have enough time to enjoy our food. In addition, the seating area was cramped and uncomfortable, but we accepted this as we were hungry. Because of this experience, I left hungry and will not visit this restaurant again or recommend it...

During my trip to Europe, dining at Saffron Restaurant was truly one of the highlights of my journey. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm atmosphere and incredibly kind staff. The food was absolutely amazing — authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and the aroma of spices that brought back memories of traditional Middle Eastern gatherings.
I ordered the Saffron Kebab with Rice, and honestly, it was beyond delicious — perfectly grilled, juicy meat, aromatic rice, and beautifully presented. Even the dessert and tea were exceptional and added to the experience.
If you ever find yourself in Austria, don’t miss Saffron Restaurant — a must-visit for lovers of Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine. A truly...
