Salonschiff Fräulein Florentine — Restaurant in Linz

A very nice and scenic spot in Linz where you actually sit on a ship that's flaoting in the Danube. In the summer it's very comfortable sitting on the deck where you can enjoy your beer and a cool breeze from the Danube while having a very nice view of Linz. There is no table service so you always have to get your drinks on your own from the bar. During the day they also serve drinks at the bar on the deck, but in the evening you have to get your drinks from downstairs. They also offer a small selection of warm dishes, so check out their goulash if you get hungry ;-) The only downside is that if you're there at night and there are a lot of people who want to get their drinks at the bar, you kind of have to behave a bit egoisticly in order to not wait for...

Really nice in summer. Right on the Danube, good view. There is also an inside sitting area which is ok for cold weather, but sitting on the deck in summer is what you want to do here. Almost no food, they have some cakes though, drinks are pretty standard but nothing special. There is only bar service, so you need to pick are your own drink other than that nice atmosphere, good place to spend a nice laid...

Best place in Linz for a refreshing drink or delicious toasts, or both. Food is great and home made. Best view of the river on the upper deck. A little rusted old ship, but that's the charm about it. At times it's very busy and self service makes it a bit hectic, but the overall experience is just great.
