academy Café-Bar — Restaurant in Salzburg

I come here with my colleagues once every other week and it's my kind of bar: great beer, good music, international.

The venue itself is very cozy and the decor is alternative and feels very authentic. There is a vibe of what some might call "hipster" but I think it's the good level of hip. It does feel quite good to sit there and enjoy a good chat with friends without feeling the music is overpowering the ambient. Plus, their couches are very comfortable.

The local is good and there are art events occasionally, like public readings. I would recommend this...

Bar chef is very unfriendly. He only cares about his regular customers, but treats new customers very badly. Regular customers stole all the chairs at our table, while we went for a quick cigarette. When i wanted our chairs back, they said and i quote: "We can do what we want because we know the barkeeper." I took my chair from them anyways, because i really wanted to finish my beer seating. They complainend to the barkeeper and he immediately threw me out. I do have to say:...

Just discovered this bar, as I made a quick hop off in Salzburg, the city of Mozart. The staff was so nice and the whole vibe is just amazing. Here is where you find the friendly people of Salzburg. 😜 Also: I got to know this kind girl (you can see her on the foto). She’s very silly tho. She said she loves spongebob. A cartoon or something, I don’t know. Anyways, it was a really fun night...
