I hope my feedback will be valuable to you.

We chose your restaurant mainly because we were staying at the hotel, through which we also reserved a table. It was convenient for us to dine there with our baby, and we had good memories from a pleasant experience a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet our expectations.

I ordered the Lammkrone, which was quite disappointing — the meat was a bit tough and tasted as if it had been boiled. The side dish, polenta, had much more flavor than the main course and completely overpowered it. Ironically, that was a relief, since the lamb itself lacked taste.

I generally never complain about food — if I don’t enjoy a meal, I simply choose not to return to the restaurant. In this case, however, the issue goes beyond just the taste. It’s about the price–quality ratio and the combination of several disappointing aspects that made this experience frustrating.

The wine, listed at €45, turned out to be of noticeably low quality. I later discovered that its retail price is closer to €10 — a steep markup that might be acceptable if the overall experience justified it, but it didn’t. We were told that all tables with a view were reserved, yet by the time we left, those seats remained unoccupied. Even for dessert, no effort was made to offer a better table.

My wife also found her main dish and the starter underwhelming. In the end, we were disappointed with the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere. Spending €170 for a dinner where nothing stood out — no view, no remarkable food, and no enjoyable wine — left us unsatisfied.

I genuinely hope this feedback helps you improve the overall experience for...

We were greeted by Thomas, who was extremely rude to us. As we approached the restaurant, we immediately apologized for being late. Our reservation was at 5:30 p.m., but we were delayed because my wife was running a high fever. Nevertheless, we arrived around 6:10 p.m.

Firstly, Thomas addressed me by my last name, "Wee," three times (not even "Mr. Wee"), despite me repeatedly telling him my name was Derek. Then, he rudely informed us that we were late and that our table had been given away. While I completely understand not having a table due to our tardiness, what surprised me was how empty the restaurant was. Despite this, Thomas eventually gave us a random table, but his attitude was disappointing. This is supposed to be a fine dining restaurant where guests are expected to be treated with respect, yet your staff’s behavior was shockingly unprofessional.

Once seated, we were actually considering leaving until we met Robert, who turned out to be the highlight of our evening. He provided excellent wine recommendations and regularly checked in to ensure everything was alright. His service was exceptional, and we left a 15% tip in appreciation.

The food was great overall, but our first impression of the restaurant was completely tarnished by Thomas. I am genuinely shocked by how he treated us. If someone’s last name is "Wee," do you just call them "Wee"? Even so, I introduced myself as Derek. Why couldn’t he simply address...

Went for lunch here yesterday (12th/July/2016) This a up market resteraunt located on a rooftop at the eneterance to Crown Plaza Hotel building. It is beautifully styled and and has magnificent views available from the roof terrace of the city centre, including the mountainous regions and also a great view of Salzburg Castle. We where kindly greeted by a waiter and he offered us option of where to sit. We decided to sit outside to enjoy the views. The waiter was able to speak English and was very good and extremely polite during the entire meal. There was a amazing selection of food on the menu, but most options was quite on the pricey side. We ordered our food and it came in a reasonable time. I tried the pasta dish "ParmesannudeIn". I recieved the meal and was first of all quite shocked and somewhat disappointed by the size of the meal. (This sometimes a norm with up market resteraunts, less food more taste) But being honest the food just tasted ok and felt it was quite bland overall. But I wasnt in anyway filled by this meal. Maybe it was just the food option I ordered, but I left disatisfied with my meal and left needing to get food else only a short while after which was disappointing. But the customer service and location...

My friend and I made a lunch reservation at this beautiful rooftop spot, and it did not disappoint. The view from the terrace was stunning—we sat outside and soaked in the vibes. We each ordered a bottle of wine to pair with our entrées (yes, a whole bottle each), and not only did we finish them, but the waiter was also genuinely impressed. We’ll take that as a badge of honor. To start, I had the Caesar salad with organic chicken—absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly juicy, and the dressing? Next level. A definite must-order. For the main course, the waiter recommended the sole meunière—a delicately fried and salted fish served with sautéed spinach. I swapped the potatoes for asparagus, and it was a great call. Just a heads-up: the fish comes whole, so you’ll need to debone it yourself, but it wasn’t too tricky. And of course, dessert was the Salzburg Nockerl—a fluffy, sponge-cake-like treat with three golden peaks meant to represent the Austrian Alps. It was lightly crisp on the outside, soft and creamy inside, with a tangy cranberry sauce at the base. So good! All in all, the food, the views, and the service were fantastic. Major props to our waiter for the stellar recommendations!

First of all let me start off by saying that the waitress that served my boyfriend and I, Csilla, was incredibly kind and made our evening the best it could have been. Especially on our last night in Salzburg! Incredible service and it made for such a lovely dining experience, so much so that we would travel from England to visit again in the future. We had two courses, the wild garlic soup for starters and the truffle oil pasta for our mains. Both were delicious and were clearly made by very talented chefs who really knew how to cook. Unfortunately I was too full to try any desserts but I will definitely be back one day! As well as the food, the actual restaurant itself was gorgeous! Even though it was raining the day we visited, the views from outside the windows of where we were sitting were stunning! Could not have asked for a better dining experience to conclude the end of my holiday!
