We had a reservation at Atlas Bar & Gallery, placed our food order quickly – and then waited nearly 50 minutes. When we finally asked, the staff admitted they had forgotten our order, and on top of that told us the dishes were now “sold out.”
This would have been disappointing in any case, but the place was far from busy. Hardly anyone was eating, which made it feel less like a mistake and more like they simply didn’t care. When we said we’d leave to eat elsewhere, they suddenly “found” the food after all. By then, of course, it was too late.
The response we got was equally unserious: we could get one dish for free if we ordered again. A gesture that felt careless rather than genuine.
I don’t usually expect flawless service, but this was truly below any standard – indifferent staff, zero sense of hospitality, and an experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. If zero stars were possible, this...

Expected More Nothing culinary. But if you're going to have a gallery, make sure the artwork is easy on the eyes.
So, until next time, keep exploring and keep tasting.

They also have a few tables outside, but I highly recommend making a reservation if you want to sit inside, especially because it can get busy and the staff sometimes gets a little overwhelmed (they forgot about our order twice). That said, the vibe is exactly what you’d want for a chill evening or night out with friends — very much in that classic 7th district style. The service could use a little improvement, but overall, it’s a really nice spot, and I would definitely go back — and next time, I’ll also make sure to...
