4.75 overall:
đ¶ Price/Value: great pricing within a central area in Vienna's (quite central 7th district), good portions
đŻïžAmbience/Athmosphare: located in a calm side street, with cute outdoor seating options.
đ Food: very authentic Persian cuisine. Typical variety, lots of mainstream dishes like Ghormeh Sabzi, Gheymeh, and Zereshk Polo ba Morgh, also some that aren't available in every restaurant, such as Tah-Chin. Had the Fesenjan which was excellent, less sour than in some more northern Iranian restaurants but I loved it. Lots of walnut flavour and the meat was excellent. Probably chicken tho. Had Kashk-e Bademjan before that which again was well made. I was told that you have to call and make a reservation if you wanna have Shole-zard, would have loved to try it here. Overall well above standard quality of Persian food. The owner is Armenian-Iranian. Wouldn't be able to tell from the cuisine but there were some outliers like Borsht on the menu.
â Drinks: Doogh was a little bit too salty for me, but still pretty good, and freshly made. Also got lots of sodas and regular drinks.
đŁïž Staff: super friendly, got served quickly, and they incorporated lots of special requests, like having Zereshk Polo instead of normal rice or including Limoo in Gheymeh.

Read moreItâs a very small and cosy place. The owners are really lovely and kind. From the moment you walk in, you immediately feel welcomed â like youâre stepping into a friendâs home rather than just another restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of character. Itâs clear that a lot of love and attention has gone into every detail, from the charming dĂ©cor to the gentle music playing in the background.
The menu, though not very extensive, is thoughtfully curated and offers a great selection of freshly made dishes. Each item we ordered was absolutely delicious â full of flavor and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can really taste the difference when food is prepared with passion. I especially recommend the house special; it was packed with authentic flavors and beautifully presented.
What really makes this place stand out, though, is the people. The owners donât just serve food â they share a part of themselves. Their kindness, genuine smiles, and willingness to make sure every guest feels comfortable truly elevate the experience.
If youâre looking for a place that feels more like visiting family than going out to eat, this is it. Iâll definitely be coming back â not just for the food, but for the...

First of all - it may be that the restaurant with its furniture could be equipped more beautifully.
The restaurant is an absolutely spartan one - but with all the more unbelievable lovely owners.
I'd like to go into some of those negative assessments of some (negative?) persons: This restaurant DEFINITIVELY doesn't serve pork and dog meat - I mean - these evaluations are simply not true - moreover they are shameful lies and inventions - leave alone the psychic state of those inventing something like this!
Furthermore - If you went to your mother or grand mother and have a meal - would you ever dare to criticize their facilities??? Especially when they've put so much love & effort into what they've served you???
Well - unfortunately some people probably would.
In summary Linda probably isn't neither your mom nor your grandma but from her heart she's definitely somebody who could match with those.
Indeed with her cooking skills - especially when it comes to Persian cuisine!!!
That tastes of the people are different is as old as mankind itself.
Leave alone the haters -they're double doomed - not only with their own bad luck but also with the luck of others.
Persian Kolbe restaurant is THE SECRET SPOT IN VIENNA to eat authentic, marvelous Persian food!
