Very popular brunch place with a great menu. To be honest, I had higher expectations and was really disappointed by the food and drink, therefore only 2 stars.

Food and Drink ☕🥑 I had to pay 40c extra for the oat milk (which always strikes me if that happens) and in the end the cappuccino was disappointing. The aesthetics of the avocado smash with the pink hummus were amazing, looked very inviting and delicious. Bread and hummus were actually very good. But two major critic points: a) sadly, the avocado didn't have a good taste at all and b) the poached eggs were put on the plain bread so that the bread was soaked in water, very unpleasant. The eggs also weren't warm and as the food arrived quickly (which is usually a good thing), I assume they have been sitting there ready for a while. As said, I think the food looks great, maybe I just wasn't lucky.

Service and Atmosphere ✨ Nice staff and a great location in the beautiful 7th district. Very pleasant for a brunch in Vienna. I'd make a reservation though, usually it's very busy.

Price 💰 Portion size is ok, the plain avocado mash itself is fairly priced, it gets more expensive if you add stuff to it (eggs, feta, etc.). Other than that I would say the dishes look good in terms of portion size for the price you pay.

High expectations, underdelivered.. unfortunately. For me, there are better brunch places in Vienna, but I might give it...

I had a wonderful lunch here. The place is vibrant, full of energy and nice people. I had one of their energising smoothies and I felt refreshed pretty quickly. It was around 36° outside but the place has a lot of natural and artificial shade, so everything was fine. The service was fast and reliable, and the employee that took my order was quick with a recommendation: parsnip cream soup and creamy risotto. I had to ask them what they would recommend since I have a few dietary restrictions, the most important being that I can't have any gluten and wheat, and that I'm a vegetarian. Both of the dishes suited my needs and they were really tasty and creamy😋. The parsnip cream soup was sweet and savory, and even though both the soup and the outside weather were hot, the parsnip soup disappeared from the plate really quickly 😅. The risotto came and went by really fast as well. It had a nice saffron flavour and color and was full of vegetables and condiments. I also had a long black coffee which had a good intense aroma. One special note: if you're looking for breakfast after 12 during weekdays, be sure to check out their "brother"-restaurant: Erich. Overall everything was more than great👍. They have outside and inside seating and they accept cash and cards. Their staff speaks English and they're really professional and...

Ulrich – The Absolute Best Brunch Spot Ever! If you’re looking for the most incredible brunch experience, Ulrich in Vienna is the place to go. Trust us—we’ve tried brunch spots in Germany, Luxembourg, Romania, Hungary, and beyond, but nothing compares to Ulrich.

We visited in July (peak tourist season), so we booked one week in advance, which is an absolute must! Without a reservation, getting a table is nearly impossible because both locals and tourists flock here. The vibe is amazing, the atmosphere is cozy, and the small terrace is a hidden gem, offering shade while still letting you enjoy the lively surroundings. Plus, its location right next to a charming church makes it even

Every single dish was exceptional—from the pancakes and avocado toasts to the omelets, poached eggs, and beetroot hummus. The coffee is amazing, and their healthy shots (like ginger) and smoothies add a refreshing touch to the meal. The menu is diverse, fresh, and absolutely delicious.

Top-notch! The staff is friendly, efficient, and professional, making the entire experience even better.

Ulrich is hands down the best brunch spot we’ve ever been to. We even took the tram from Vienna’s city center just to get there, and it was more than worth it. We’ll definitely be back this year, and if you’re in Vienna, you absolutely have to...

My one day Vienna itinerary ⤵️ 1. Start with brunch at @ulricherichwien 2. Visit the Palace of Justice (it’s a highly secure yet GORGEOUS government building- see the reel I posted before this one for all the details!) Pop up to their cafeteria for a coffee and a great view 3. Swing by the Austrian Parliament Building - it’s just nice to look at 👀 4. Take a stroll through Volksgarten 5. See some ornate statues, beautiful architecture, and horses and carriages in Michaelerplatz 6. Visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral. *Tour the inside for free or pay (cash only) to climb to the top of the north or south tower (great views!) 7. Stop into Shakespeare and Co. if you love an aesthetic book place 8. Grab a bite at Israeli restaurant @miznonvienna (the hamburger in a pita is 🤤) 9. End the day with a visit to the Vienna State Opera House (@wienerstaatsoper) I got an opera ticket for €15 and made sure to arrive early. The interior is incredible. 📌 Save for your Vienna trip! (And drop any other suggestions in the comments if you have them- I’ll pin them 🤗) . . . . . #visitvienna #travelitinerary #discovervienna #vienna #visitaustria #austria #onedayinvienna
