Sadly overhyped and overpriced. The service was the highlight, the girls serving really are doing their best. But the food is just meh, feels and tastes like something you would make on a weekday evening at home, just that you have no control over the taste, texture or temperature. I really have to say I was not a happy camper after the first tastes. Foccacia is a few pieces of bread, although very good bread, it should not be on the menu as an extra or as a foccacia in my opinion. The beef fell very off, because the whole plate came cold, even though it was not supposed to be cold (we got that as a feedback from the kitchen, as well as some orange slices with spices sprinkled on them as an apology from the kitchen - those were actually the best thing we ate there). It’s just very random, taste profiles felt uncomplete, the presentation felt off, and the portion sizes and prices of the dishes make no sense for the kind of a place this is. Sad, because the feedback and stories about the place were good, but the experience itself, not really. Wine card is good though, interesting organic wines. The long drinks are also good, even though presented in a bad way, the glasses were not right at all for what we ordered. If you have any kind of taste and also know how to cook yourself or know what good restaurants serve, I think this will hardly impress you. Props to the servers again, saving the...
Read moreThe food here is absolutely incredible! I got the focaccia, laben, Viennese mushrooms and the chocolate tart for desert. Everything was so good I wanted to try the rest of the menu. The food is meant to be shared by ordering several dishes for the table so everyone can try each dish. Even though I was there by myself I still had a great experience but it would have been even better with a group of friends or family. That way you can try more of their delicious food.
This is not a strictly vegetarian restaurant since they have fish and meat dishes too but most of their menu is vegetarian. As a non vegetarian myself, I had all vegetarian dishes and loved them all. If you’re a vegetarian you will love the food here.
The staff was really nice and attentive. Even though the place was really busy and I was there by myself they still took the time to check on me and answer my questions.
I rarely leave reviews but I had such a great experience I had to leave one this time. I couldn’t...
Read moreThis place is a must visit if you're looking for traditional Austrian ingredients and cooking! The menu is constantly changing depending on season and availability of seasonal ingredients, thus I wont talk much about what I had, because chances are, you wont have the same menu! Overall, the food is outstanding! Its mind blowing how creative the chefs are here, because they make something so tasty and beautiful with a couple of seasonal and local ingredients. Every time I go, my mind is blown! The cooking style is elevated, with some interesting techniques. The wines offered are from local small producers, its always great to taste these! Oh, and did I mention the home made foccacia..?! The staff is friendly and chirpsy, making for a great vibe! The interior is no frills, because the real star of the show...
