Café Kreuzberg — Restaurant in Vienna

Came for lunch on Friday. While they don't have lunch menu but you can still order a la carte. The small dishes actually are a normal size and probably can satisfy you unless you are really hungry. I got the chickpea stew, and it was quite good.

Great authentic place. The interior is very cosy, perfect for small groups up to 5-6p Very good prices for nice drinks (local wine, cocktail and beer). We also had a simple dinner here which was a good deal in terms of value for money (..not so high value but also for little money). All in all, highly recommended! Dieses Kaffeehaus ist besonders. Liebevoll geführt von einer Wirtin, die in edler Gastfreundlichkeit um die Tische schwebt, belebt von jungen, charmanten und wortwitzigen Kellner:innen, die sich sichtlich wohl bei der Arbeit fühlen. Es gibt 3(!) Biere vom Fass, ein paar hausgemachte Speisen und tagesfrischen Kuchen, sowie vegane Optionen - auch für Schlagobers oder Cafè Latte. Partykeller (klimatisiert) und Clublounge (mit Klavier!) sind mietfrei zu buchen, es gastieren regelmäßig Schachclub, Konzerte, Stand Up Comedy, Lesungen und vieles mehr. Wochenends wandelt es sich zu einer ulkigen Party-Location, in der jede Person, die Geselligkeit und Diversität liebt, willkommen ist - so habe ich es zumindest erlebt.

Ich dachte, so etwas gibt es nicht mehr - und es hat lange gedauert, bis ich so ein Lokal in Wien wieder gefunden habe, lassen wir es nicht aussterben!
