Café Namenlos — Restaurant in Vienna

Unimpressed. This place was across the street from my hotel (Lehrerhaus). It looked good on here when I looked for a place to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. In reality, it’s nothing special and somewhat disorganized. The girl who was working there was pleasant enough but you could tell she didn’t really care. It’s just a job. She served at the counter and then sat down quickly with her friends who were the only other people there at a table off to the side. They were also thereafter super loud and on top of the pretty horrible music, I was quickly annoyed. The coffee was pretty bad. Something tasted completely off about it. Could be that the oat milk I requested was not right or it was improperly prepared. Even worse was the sandwich I ordered. It was tiny and basically tasted like old bread with a tiny bit of meat and cheese on it as well as tomato and salad. I believe it was almost 5 Euro so a total joke for size and quality. No idea how this place gets to a 4.8 rating on here. It’s at best mediocre. Don’t be fooled by all...

Ich habe dieses Kaffee zufällig beim Vorbeigehen entdeckt. Es liegt in der Lange Gasse und dessen Terrasse befindet sich straßenseitig am Vormittag in der Sonne. Das kleine Café ist sowohl von außen, als auch von innen extrem süß. Wir haben nur Getränke konsumiert. Der Kakao (welcher im Würfel serviert wurde) war wirklich sehr gut, vor allem der Milchschaum war ein Traum. Was mir auch sehr positiv auffiel, war die Tatsache, dass für andere Milchalternativen kein Aufpreis verlangt wird (dies findet man kaum anderswo). Die Kellnerin war auch sehr freundlich und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ebenfalls fair.

Der Grund weshalb ich hier leider nur 3 Sterne vergebe, war der Disput welcher sich mit dem männlichen Kellner ergab. Ich habe den Sessel ein wenig Richtung Gehsteig (nicht auf die Straße) gerückt weil dort noch die Sonne schien. Der Gehsteig war wenig frequentiert und breit genug um noch vorbei zu gehen. Der Kellner kam zu uns und bat uns, den Sessel wieder zum Tisch zu schieben weil er ansonsten Probleme mit der Polizei bekommen würde. Dies war für uns noch vollkommen in Ordnung und verständlich und wir haben lediglich gefragt, ob die Polizei hier wirklich so streng sei. Daraufhin antwortet dieser von oben herab und ziemlich frech: "Ja sie können ja auch nicht einfach Ihren Sessel Mitten auf die Straße stellen" und drehte sich einfach um und verließ das Kaffee und ging weg. Die Art und Weise wie er mit uns sprach, uns darstellte als wären wir kleine, "dumme" Jugendliche die belehrt werden müssten und sich dann einfach umdrehte um zu gehen und uns damit nicht einmal die Gelegenheit zu geben, darauf antworten zu können; fanden wir wirklich letzklassig. Einen solchen Umgang kann man sich im Dienstleistungssektor einfach nicht leisten - oder vielleicht doch? Wir waren jedenfalls ein wenig entsetzt. Er hatte ins keinster Weise das Recht in so einer herablassenden Art mit uns als Kunden zu kommunizieren (vor allem wo wir zu jeder Zeit freundlich und einsichtig waren)! Sehr schade, denn das Kaffee ist wirklich ansprechend. Dies ist auch der Grund weshalb ich trotz allem noch 3 Sterne vergeben habe, denn für die zwischenmenschliche Komponente hätten wir nicht mehr als...

we came to work during working hours and sat for 1 hour, for which the guy constantly came up and asked what we would be next, hinting that We would go and said that the table was booked in 20 minutes and immediately made us pay. And after that he come 3 times and say you must going, but time was 16:10. He didn't say sorry or thank you. I do not recommend to people who appreciate a good attitude towards them. Because we often came to sit in this cafe before. we are very loyal people and would react normally if he politely told us about it((( P.s coffee in that time...
