Cafe Theater — Restaurant in Vienna

Service is a disaster. Not even sure waitress understands english. Slow, out of ordering 4 things the waitress brought 2 - 1 of them is not what we ordered. Once I corrected her, she brought it, but forgot completely for other 2 cakes. Desserts were ok, nothing special, strudel comes without ice cream. Once we asked for a bill, (along with a question can we pay by credit card) she brought the bill and put it in front of the person, who never talked to the waitress, not given it to me! Waitress turned around and sat by other table with somebody she knew and was sipping a glass of something like rose. We had to call her to bring the machine to pay with a card, she came to our table slowly and we asked again for the machine, cause we though she didn’t hear what we wanted, but she took a cheque and said in an irritated manner that yes, she will bring it, turned around and mumbled something in German. Came back after 2 minutes- which is a while- saying that here it is, it’s 10% tips on top of the bill in Austria - which is a total lie. We asked to speak to the manager and she said she is a manager and no one else to speak to. ungemütlich für bürgerliche Gäste.....eine richtige Altwiener Saufbude......angeheitertes Services welches Kaffee 2x kassieren will, und lieber Sekt trinkt als sich um Gäste zu kümmern......igit....noch dazu laute Musik.....im Raucherbereich mühsam.......der Raucherraum ist auch mühsam wenn man wegen Zugluft empfindlich ist ......und es draußen kalt ist.....da die Eingangstüre offen gelassen wird....... .wenn man alleine ist und sich einen um 1600 Uhr schon antrinken will und 60plus ist.....sicher...
