BE AWARE! Service was aweful. We were treated very differently from the rest of the customers sitting dining at the restaurant, perhaps due to our race as we are the only Asian customer in the restaurant. We were the only table that wasn't given any bread throughout the meal. When we asked for water, waiter only offered us bottled still water or sparkling water which costs 5 dollars, and no tap water option was given throughout!!
Food was mediorce, they didn't offer any shredded cheese on top of our pasta dishes. With such service and food they still asked for tips at the end. My dining experience was completely ruined.
All of these keep me thinking are we treated differently because of our race? I don't tend to think of people as racists but the way they serve us so differently throughout the dinner keep let me...
Read moreA wonderful little hidden gem close to our hotel, the Levante. We had arrived at the hotel around noon and we were starving from our long trip from the United States. So we just wanted food quick. Luckily this place was open and even luckier that it was delicious! We had the pork schnitzel and it was so crispy and buttery. Oh my gosh I inhaled the dish. We also had some house white wine with ice and I gotta tell you, this Austrian way of drinking white wine was incredible. One ice cube and it really changes the texture of the wine. And usually when we get house wine in the States, it is typically bad. But this house wine was superb! Sigh, I wish the US had quality little cafes...
