Worst experience in a restaurant/bar of my entire life. A total nightmare! 100% do NOT recommend!!! Read my experience below:
At the entrance of the Dachboden downstairs, there is a little gap between the stairs (so be careful!), where my wallet unfortunately fell as I was waiting for some friends. After an hour trying to get it back unsuccessfully, I was told cheerfully to still come upstairs, even though I said clearly I wouldn't have the money to pay. "It's on the house", I was told. So I had two drinks, and when it was time to pay, I explained the waitress I was "the one who had lost the wallet" and that I couldn't pay the 2 Hugos I had drunk. "Well go and get your wallet she told me". Funny was she. And already very disrespectful. I thus went to talk to the bar-manager, who started yelling at me, threatening to call the police if I didn't pay, telling me I had to pay one of the two Hugos, that this was the deal (which I was apparently never informed of).
I ended up leaving the bar crying, sick of how I had been treated and how I had to yell and fight for something I was told I would get, already dealing with the fact that I lost everything I had in my wallet. I am so negatively surprised by the way I was treated for my experience there. The Operations Manager, to put a good face on it, told me an engineer would come the next day to try to retrieve it, but actually no tools were used, no effort was really done to try to get it back. I didn't receive apologies for the way I was treated and not offered anything to make up for all of this.
Truly do not...
Read moreExtremely terrible and horrible experience at this bar! The server Lukas/Lucas (semi orange/brown short hair), your attitude is beyond rude and aggressive!! I came before 1am and you saw me and you ignore and ignore my order despite I was standing infront of your arrogant face, you keep talking to other customers, make jokes and keep me waiting and waiting until its after 1am, and then you yelled at me loudly “its finished!!” With hand gesture like crossing on your neck, what the heck??? Whats the aggression?? You could have told me earlier!! As a bar owner myself, if you work in my bar I will fire you on the spot! How come a globally respected hotel chain, who says they care about each of their customers and try to deliver the best service and warmth, choose you, the No.1 World Rudest Bartender to stand behind the bar and represent their vision??? You clearly failed !!! Still maybe there is a chance that you are taught-able, I recommend you the hospitality golden book “Setting The Table” by Danny Meyer, read it before you...
Read moreI recently visited Der Dachboden with my friends, and we had an extremely disappointing experience. The bartender, Zane, was incredibly unhelpful and downright rude to us and other customers. Her attitude made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, the food was subpar, and the drinks tasted like medicine. It was clear that there was little effort put into the quality of the menu offerings.
Due to this unpleasant experience, my friends and I will not be returning to this place. We hope management takes notice and makes the necessary changes to improve customer service and the quality of their food and drinks.
One star because of...
