I almost never write reviews, but after my second visit to this restaurant, I felt compelled to share my thoughts—this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a while.

The first time I went with my partner, we used the Neotaste app and got a decent steak for free. It would have been overpriced otherwise, but with the app, the experience was okay. They served a starter that looked fancy but didn’t taste good at all—clearly an attempt to appear upscale through presentation rather than quality, and charge it afterwards, without mentioning it at all.

Because of that, on our second visit, I specifically asked if they would serve the same unannounced starter again (which, by the way, isn’t listed anywhere but is still charged). Since we didn’t like it (it was couscous), they made an "exception" and agreed not to bring it.

This time, the steaks were quite below average. But the real surprise came when the manager told us that Neotaste could only be used once per table, and we had to pay for the starters we didn’t even receive—because, according to him, "that’s how high-class restaurants do it." I’ve genuinely never experienced anything like this. As a consolation, he brought us a tiny 2x2 cm piece of tiramisu, half frozen.

In short: if you're a couple, order two steaks, and use Neotaste, it might be a decent visit. Otherwise, it’s just a mediocre restaurant hiding behind a...

My girlfriend and I went to DaRose for New Year’s Eve, and it was unfortunately not a great end to the year. We sat down around 8:05pm, but by the time we finished our 5th and final course, it was almost 11:30pm. Between some courses we waited close to 50 minutes. On 2 occasions, we were served food with no cutlery in front of us. The food was very good, but unfortunately we decided it was not worth the time and money spent on it. Although it’s a 5 course meal, I think anyone can agree that 3.5 hours is a bit long winded, especially when you’re given tiny portions every 40-50 minutes. All in all, not terrible but far from amazing. Waiters were friendly, but unfortunately not speedy and attentive enough. It should be noted aswell that tables at which visibly wealthier natives sat for much more attention and better service than us tourists. NIE MEHR WIEDER!!!!!

Gestern Abend hatten wir im DaRose reserviert. Alles hat ziemlich gut angefangen mit netter Begrüßung und es ging relativ schnell zu unserem Platz.

Hier hatten wir bereits die erste kleine Panne an unserem Abend. Der Tisch wackelte und zwar nicht nur hoch runter sonder die ganze Tischplatten konnte man drehen. Und eine unserer Besteckboxen war leer. Dies sollte normal jedem schon beim eindecken auffallen.

Nachdem wir 10 Minuten versucht hatten einen Mitarbeiter unser Problem mit der Tischplatte mitzuteilen wurden wir dann nach weiteren 10 Minuten umgesetzt.

Nicht dass wir dann gleich gefragt wurden was wir trinken wollen. Nein es vergingen wieder weitere 10 Minuten.

Nach weiteren 10 Minuten kamen dann endlich mal die Getränke daher. Einmal Eistee und ein Hugo: Der Hugo sehr fad fast ohne Holunder und der Eistee bestand aus mehr Wasser als Tee (kaum Geschmack)

Unsere essen wurde dann auch aufgenommen. Einmal eine da Rose Platte als Vorspeise eine Fischsuppe und dann 2x Angus Steak

Nach sage und schreibe 5 Minuten kam die Fischsuppe und der Vorspeisenteller Was mich etwas stutzig machte weil alles sehr schön angerichtet war aber gut man kann das ja auch schnell zubereiten Geschmacklich war beide wirklich in Ordnung. Und ehrlich gesagt das beste an dem Abend.

Während der Vorspeise wurde noch 1x Wasser nachbestellt (Wartezeit ca 10 Minuten)

Jetzt geht es aber erst richtig los: Steaks wurden Medium-well und einmal Medium bestellt. Nach insgesamt 45 Minuten Wartezeit hab ich einmal nachgefragt was mit den Steaks ist, die Antwort: Tut uns leid bei uns wird alles „a la Minute“ vorbereitet.

Nur blöd dass beide Nebentische nach uns gekommen sind und ihre Steaks bereits erhalten haben 🤦🏻

5 Minuten später die Steaks waren da (welch ein Wunder) Das Medium Steak war mehr als English und ich hab es wieder retour geschickt weitere 5-10 Minuten vergingen bis ich es retour bekam. Fazit es kam dann well done retour 🤦🏻

Meine Freundin konnte ihr medium Well steak zwar den Rand essen aber innen war es auch wieder eher mehr English. Dies kritisierten wir aber erst nachdem wir fertig waren.

Wir fragten dann den Kellner gleich beim abtragen des halb vollen Tellers, dass wir gerne zahlen würden:

119€ hat der ganze Spaß dann ausgemacht. Nicht mal ein wirkliches Entschuldigung oder sonst was ist gekommen.

Während unseres ganzen Aufenthalts sind wir nicht einmal gefragt worden ob wir bis auf unsere erste Getränkebestellung noch was trinken wollten.

Fazit: Zu laut, überteuert, nicht kompetent. Nie mehr wieder!

Ich konnte jetzt noch ein wenig weiter schreiben aber das würde so ca...
