Kvetch 25hours // Smashed Burger — Restaurant in Vienna

Very good burger with the potential to be astonishing. The caramelized onion was second to none, the cheddar really stood out - clear sign of quality raw material here. The bun was all you can ask for, capable of handling the generous filling. The only down side were the patties: lacking flavour and texture, I constructively want to say that going higher on pepper and higher on fat in the meat blend, would allow for a better crust, and a super enjoyable bite.

But all in all, a very good specimen. The location seems top for spring and summertime, indeed. Need to come back to try their crispy...

If you’re willing to wait 50minutes or more for a smashed burger that takes a few minutes to make, this place is for you. But! As they seem to get sooo confused with the orders you could get lucky and unintentionally skip the line and get your burger before any other frustrated customer 🥴. They weren’t even half the capacity then, judging by how many tables were set up. Burger was okay but for the wait time I was hoping something above average. Some chunks of the smashed burger were undercooked. Beer was expensive...

I ordered a double smashed burger with caramelized onions without pickles, but I didn’t get it. They just gave me the standard smash burger. After a couple of bites, I realized that no caramelized onions had been added. We asked about it at the counter, and the lady offered to add the onions to my sandwich.
