Possibly the best meal I have had in Vienna.

Lots of traditional food choices. Smaller plate sizes reflected in the prices. I like this as you can order 3, 4 or more servings so you get to sample more different dishes.

The "whistle" of beer, with a small semmel bread roll and lever kase , hazlet in Ireland. Great value at € 4.40

Baked black blood pudding. Great flavour, truly delicious.

The beef soup with liver knodel. Clear consume with terrific flavour. The liver knodel is very tasty with mild liver taste.

Beef tartar, great house mix with fresh lovely bread. A reliable choice.

The gulasch and pasta, strong rich beef stew with butter flavour pasta. Excellent combination.

Shrimp prawn salad. Great sauce and flavours. Simple clean taste.

Wiener kalbsbeuschel is Vienna Calf lungs. Magnificent. I normally don't like insides but this tastes great. In a creamy mushroom like sauce, rich in flavour with parsley.

Uberbackene Schickenfleckerel, great combo. Bacon bits in pasta over baked with cheese. A salad with balsamic dressing.

Desserts...

Milschrahmstreudel in vanilla sauce. Almost like a solid custard with flaky crispy top and liquid custard around it. Blueberries and a golden physalis. Fabulous.

Flussiger chocoladen kuchen. Ball of ice cream with liquid hot chocolate. Tasty.

Great selection of drinks. Super staff, friendly and professional.

Great atmosphere, super food at reasonable prices. What more do you want?

TRY IT, you wont be...

Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was unwelcoming — they clearly didn’t want to seat us because we had children with us. Throughout the meal, their attitude remained rude and dismissive, with unfriendly looks and little to no willingness to help when we needed something.

What was most upsetting was the constant judgmental stares toward our kids — who were simply acting like kids — and the uncomfortable vibe we felt the entire time. At the end of the meal, we approached one of the waitresses, kindly explaining that if something had bothered her, we understood and just wanted to apologize. Her response was: “It’s best that you’re leaving now.” She then insisted we just pay and leave.

We’ve never experienced anything like this in a restaurant before. The message was clear: families with children are not welcome here. We hope the team reflects on this behavior, because basic respect and courtesy should be extended to every guest — regardless of...

Die Feinkosterei Schwarz-Hirsch gibt es seit Sept. 2018.

Nice and quiet restaurant in the city center It is very close to the Hyatt Park Hotel I always wanted to try it and today I did it This restaurant is characterized by serving dishes in small quantities, and this gives you the opportunity to taste several dishes (topas) The prices are proportional to the size of the meal The salmon was very special with spinach and cream Besides that the people are very nice there and the restaurant is very clean And I think in the summer sitting outside would be great I would go there again to try other dishes 😁 Good luck

Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant in Vienna. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in this place. The goulash was wow wow wow. We also ordered Cremige Polenta, which is polenta with mushrooms, some chicken with rice and of course a plate of Das Best wom Wurstelstandl. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Vienna. Forgot to mention that the dessert was super. Especially the cream strudel. Highly recommend it!
