It was a fun experience, lasted almost 1 hour and consisted of about 10 areas with different thematology. The scenery, the wax figures, the robots, the visual and special effects make you indeed travel in time and go back to those times of the stories. The only thing that ruined our experience was that we were 2 minutes late and although we had prepaid the tickets, they had already started the tour without us, they had locked the building so that we cannot have access directly - noone at the reception desk - and when we finally found a way to reach them, they told us we had to literally run through the coridors of the building to catch up with the rest of the group - the others were 2 and me and my friends were 4 people - without giving us equipment and audio headers for english translation in the beginning. Also, the way that they were progressing the shows, was more like they were forcing us to move on, not giving us the required time to see all of the exhibits and walk around the place, because we had to catch up with the quick dialogues and screen plays which were initiated in the next rooms before we even step our foot in the place. The whole experience needs to be improved in order to be considered value of money. You need to be more client facing and let people really enjoy these tours - after all, it is supposed to be a travel back in time, not a...

I visited last Friday. Overall, the experience was charming, though it felt almost too short considering the price. Since I worked in a similar field, I may be a bit desensitized to certain special effects and tricks—but even so, I still found a few moments genuinely entertaining.

That said, the low rating mostly reflects the guide’s attitude. We received no instructions whatsoever. It would have been helpful to know something as simple as where to stand so that everyone could enjoy the show equally. Instead, a number of adults pushed their kids to the front, blocking the view for the rest of us. At one point, a group stood just centimeters away from a screen, obstructing the experience for everyone behind them—even though the room was large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably if we had all simply stood by the walls.

Unfortunately, the guide seemed entirely disinterested. There were no directions, no commentary, and no effort to engage the group. The entire tour felt like a game of musical chairs—scrambling to find a spot where you could actually see, all while dodging elbows from overly enthusiastic parents. On top of that, some visitors ignored the no-photo rule and took pictures with flashing lights in the darkest parts of the show. It should be the guide’s responsibility to ensure everyone follows the rules and has the best...

Disappointing experience as staff was very rude. I booked online on the official website and paid by apple pay for a tour at 18:40 but didn’t receive any confirmation email. When I arrived the venue around 18:30 the staff at the basement said they couldn’t find my booking. I showed the screenshot of my booking number and payment information but we were still not allowed to enter. Finally at 18:50 they let us in but we already missed the first 5-10mins.

The staff suggested we could join the next tour at 19:00 but as we were on a tight schedule so I asked whether we could get a refund instead. As soon as I said that the staff impatiently tried to grab the headset from my hand, I’m not sure whether this is how you train your staff to deal with the customers due to issues of your booking system.

The other staff from the ground floor reception asked us not to worry and will arrange a refund. So after 3 days i finally received my “partial” refund - it was not even the full amount that i paid.

Normally i let these things pass but this time i really feel the need to write this review and ask everyone to think twice before you book unless this is how you like to be treated (again due to the issues with their...

Fun, but silly way to get the basics of Viennese history. Booked ahead for a times slot, had no issue booking the day of. The audio guide was a nice touch to be able to follow along with information. Pros: Family friendly (although there are a few displays/vignettes that are dark/may seem scary). Each space was a little different in how it encouraged you to interact which would be good to keeps kids engaged. Cons: I felt this constant push to move along. Some of the smaller interactive spaces, like where there were selfies or the plague(?) scenes had so many people packed in that we couldn't really see everything as we were barely in the room. It's expensive for what it is, at more than 20 euro for a non combo ticket as an adult. Even if you don't rush, you can maybe spend 90 minutes here. As a family with multiple children, it would be the cost of a nice walking tour, night out, etc. As adults only, I don't recommend, but it could be worth it if you don't plan on actively pursuing any other venue for historical information.

A fun interactive historical tour of Vienna from early AD to modern time, combining a mixture of a theme park ride (think of Universal Studio rides like Shrek 4D), interactive walking tours, sound rooms, and even VR! These kind of interactions are different from your traditional museum tours so it’s a good way to keep some people engaged, such as younger kids (my tour was stuck with a class). The tour itself is in German but they have headsets for different languages, including English, so it’s easier to understand what the interactive tour guide is saying. The tour lasts for an hour & a tour is offered every 20 minutes. I highly recommend the tour, especially for families. I’m glad I just happened to walk by the store when I was exploring Vienna. Pictures aren’t allowed on the actual tour, but I took this from their WC. There are a lot of wax figures in the exhibits.
