We've been going to this restaurant almost since it opened because it serves truly exceptional sushi that you won't find anywhere else. Unfortunately, we've noticed a sharp drop in the quality of service in recent months, which is now so bad that we don't really want to go there anymore. Yesterday there was one waiter and two chefs, but the place wasn't overcrowded. After 15 minutes, no one had come to bring the menu and take a drinks order, this only happened after we went to the bar and ordered directly from the waiter. We ordered three sushi variations (Yagami Roll, Philadelhpia Salmon Roll, Shrimp Tempura and Popcorn Shrimp as appetizers and waited 40 minutes until we got two of the four dishes we ordered correct. Instead of the prawn tempura, a different dish was brought and offered to us at the same price as the prawn tempura (we would not have accepted paying the higher price for the wrong dish). Only when we asked that the popcorn shrimps were still missing did the waiter apologize that there was only one cook (there were at least two people working in the kirchen) and that this starter (!) would be coming in a few minutes. After another twenty minutes, there was still no sign of the popcorn shrimps. The chef didn't seem particularly stressed, but even went to the bar and poured himself a drink there and didn't go back to the kitchen afterwards. When I asked again directly at the bar because there was no service, it turned out that the chef had made no effort to prepare the popcorn shrimps yet. There was no apology. We cancelled the Popcorn Shrimps, paid and left. It's a real shame to see how the quality of this really great restaurant has declined in recent months, which is also reflected in the fact that fewer and fewer people are coming. The service is now a disaster. The menu has been reduced again and unfortunately my favorite starter has also been removed, and now you get cheap wooden sticks like at take-away sushi. The price is no longer justified for...
Read moreAwful experience. Im not used to leave comments on restaurants as chef but this time i had to. Me and my girlfriend wanted to spend the last night in Vienna in this restaurant which is seemed nice. WRONG. They don’t have any English menu for tourist so figure out what you going to eat it s impossible, just German. After the translation with google ( thanks technology) we finally ordered some dishes. Pork gyoza was fine, Chicken Bao were terrible and disgusting very sweet too much sauce and a little super dry and thin slice of chicken, i didn’t even finished the first of 2 bao in the plate and i told to the waiter ( which he is a really nice guy) to bring that away . Second course I ordered a pad thai and my girlfriend fried rice both disgusting, I barely taste my plate, so sweet so many vegetables that weren’t on the description menu. Sticky and chewy. I asked to not have the ribeye as main course cause the dinner was totally ruined already i just wanted to RUN AWAY. Asked the check and guess what? I PAID EVERYTHING. The manager said to the waiter to bring the bill with all dishes on the check. Unbelievable. I ATE NOTHING. I laughed complained and I paid. I clicked 1 star because less then 0 it s not available. Final story.. i m eating at mc donalds. Don’t...
Read moreThis restaurant is big which can be used to held parties and events! We ordered the Royal Dragon rolls and Garnelen Tempura Rolls. The food is eatable but not so impressive which creates the wow effects.
Price is a bit pricey. Euro 18,90 for Royal dragon Rolls and Euro 14 for Garnelen Tempura Rolls. We read about there has the hidden service fee/charges in the review but during the billing, the waiter showed us that they have cancelled this charges for us.. We would suggest the owner not to have any extra hidden service charges since food and beverage business is the most competitive business and within the Mariahilfer Straße , there has plenty of selections for people to choose from ..just increase the food quality and taste and also find other ways to create own food specialty to attract more customers !
The food taste and varieties can be better and improved . I have seen most of the food choices are with salmon fish (Lachs)…..
The tempura 🍤 or fried shrimps insides the rolls can be fried bigger and more crispy. Teriyaki Sauce can be more intense and stronger to bring out the flavour!
