Jin's Zieglergasse - Noodles•Dumplings — Restaurant in Vienna

I tried the beef ramen. I found the soup to be passable, toppings to be lacking, and the egg to be overcooked (a softboiled egg with the wonderful marbling they had done would've been perfect,) and they should include a full egg, there really is no need not to. They've clearly put a lot of effort into the decor, and it is nice, but to do all that and to play the supermarket pop radio blaring from the speakers just completely ruins the ambiance. I would recommend playing music from the ambient genre or traditional asian music to offer a calmer, balanced dining environment. Currently, the music makes it uncomfortable to even exist in the space.

Service was friendly and restaurant itself is spacious and quite nice looking. We had a few issues though which is why I won’t be going here for dinner again: We asked to have the chicken with rice rather than noodles and they said that was not possible? Why? Because maybe it’s premade so they can’t separate the dishes? Then when we got our food (quite quickly) the noodle and chicken dish was awful! Some of the noodles were hot and some were cold (obviously reheated) and the chicken was slimy … the dumplings were very nice though and were the only highlight of the show. We didn’t finish the noodle dish but we still had to deal with tummy aches afterwards … Definitely...

Mid experience overall. The interior is cute, and the service was decent enough.. but we walked in with rather high expectations given the glowing reviews, and it just didn't quite hit the mark...

The dumplings were okay, nothing to complain about, but certainly not outstanding. Same goes for the cucumber salad; it was a bit flat, lacking the punch of spice or vinegar I was hoping for. The noodles with vegetables and shrimp were also just okay – they could have used a lot more flavor and sauce to really bring them to life.
