The place presents itself as very cozy and clean: the wooden furniture, the dimmed lights and the minimal style is very relaxing and pleasant. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with my order. I asked for an "iced cappuccino", as the menu showed the entry "iced/freddo cappuccino" and I assumed there was no difference between "iced" and "freddo". What I received was basically a coffee with milk. No signs of milk foam. When I pointed this out to the person who made my order, she told me that iced cappuccino is different from freddo cappuccino. Now, how am I supposed to know that? First of all, if you call something "cappuccino", I expect milk foam on top. That's the whole point of cappuccino. Secondly, if you put two different things in the same entry, I am going to assume that they are the same thing (I thought that "iced" and "freddo" were two ways of calling the same thing). Thirdly (and I would say, *most importantly*), if a customer is unhappy about their order, you *at least* offer to re-do it. That's honestly the bare minimum. It takes two minutes to do another one and I don't think it would have caused them an immeasurable financial loss, but they would have had an happy client. Instead, I was very disappointed to be sent back with an (overpriced) coffee with milk. I am very sad to leave a bad review, because it was the first time I went to this place and I had high expectations. Maybe I will try another time at their venute in Währinger Ring, but I won't go at that cafè again.

the friendliest staff i’ve ever met in Vienna! i’m just a tourist and i can’t speak German at all, also my English is not that good. but she understood my order right away and gave me helpful and rapid service. i don’t know her name but thanks to her super hospitality, i could start my saturday morning in a good mood👍 also i really enjoyed their banana bread, iced coffee, and atmosphere.. go there without hesitation! 🙆‍♀️🙆🙆‍♂️ - I left a review in another branch by mistake, so I write it again :)

Jonas Reindl roasts their beans in-house and also offers a pour over / hand pour filter drip option. I really enjoyed their more exquisite beans from Ethiopia. Using the filter drip method, the coffee texture is closer to tea with floral/fruity notes. The interior is warm and welcoming. I saw a few folks studying/working while many were getting together to socialize. I’ll definitely return next time to buy more beans. The 250g bags are really affordable.

Best place for coffee near Burggasse/Stadthalle, same high standards & friendly staff as at the other location near the Uni. It is becoming a magnet for the trendy crowd in the 7th so seating may be scarce on the weekend, for me it's rather a place to drink a quick espresso. For that the waiting time is really short, but the taste could certainly be richer from the Synesso machine, the one I tried tasted the same as I obtain from my E61 brewgroup at home so only 4-4.5 stars but will upgrade to 5 stars once the baristas dial in their shots :) Upd. Filter coffee from Panama was sensationally good, also owner commented that it's possible to pay by card at the location so it's fair to say this is the fantastic place for coffee in Neubau that...

12 years as a speciality coffee barista. And this place has potential but the coffee, in my opinion, was nothing too special. If they are roasting their own beans they should be training the baristas correctly. It’s a hot day, so an iced flat white is preferred. But when I asked the barista to extract the shots into a separate metal cup instead of extracting the espresso directly over ice which would cause the ice to melt and interfere with a correct taste of espresso, he was annoyed and didn’t understand why it would be better. The espresso was bitter and the extraction in...
