Food and drinks were amazing, servers very inattentive.
Update: returned this evening (27.12.24) and was very unhappy with the service and most of the food. For a place that serves lots of small tapas-style dishes, it is frustrating to have to literally flag the server down. We also waited over 1.5 hours to get our main courses. I ordered “The endless sea” which is supposed to be a dish with fresh seafood. The risotto I got at the end of that 1.5 hour wait had maybe 4 chunks of fish in it, and they were full of good-sized, inedible bones. I feel like it’s one thing to be served a piece of fish along with a knife and fork, where it’s clear that you need to carefully cut it and watch out for bones, and another thing to have pieces of fish in a dish that is usually smooth and has an even consistency like risotto.
Since we had had such a hard time getting our server to refill our drinks and the food was so slow in coming out, I walked over to the owner at the bar (who I had watched standing around doing almost nothing for the whole two hours we were in the restaurant) and asked him to take the dish off of our bill, which I have almost never done in my life. The server was also there when I walked over and they both stared at me and didn’t say a word. We then asked for our tab and when the server brought it, he said the owner took the dish off my bill but felt like I should have expected bones based on the type of fish it was. There was no apology for the long wait and no apology for having the fish served in this way.
I will say that the oysters were very good this time as well as last time I went there. I like that they have a great wine list and are one of the few places in Vienna that serves fresh oysters. Next time I will stick to drinks and oysters and go somewhere...

Read moreI didn’t have the opportunity to try the food, so I won’t be rating it. However, I visited the place a few days in a row with my parents just for a quick drink, and unfortunately, I have to say that most of the staff were extremely rude, completely ruining the atmosphere.
The only exception was the tall guy with glasses – he was kind and actually helped us find a place to sit. But the last two times, a guy with long blond hair kicked us out, even though the place was half empty, claiming that all tables were reserved. The same thing happened again today (Monday, June 9), this time together with another guy with black hair. Once again, many tables were empty and not a single one had a reservation sign or label.
That was the last time I’ll ever set foot in this place. I also plan to contact the owner or manager directly – and, of course, I’ll be sharing this “lovely” experience with my 65,000 Instagram...
