Joyce Café Restaurant — Restaurant in Vienna

Stumbled to this restaurant after a long day walking around Wien. We were in the area and this was close by. It wasn't too busy and we were able to sit outside. There was only 1 female server working that night but she was efficient despite having to work both inside and outside sections + I'm pretty sure she was bartending as well.

The food here is phenomenal. We started with the Joyce Spritz to drink and it was soooo good. For appetizers, we got the Fish Tartare and the Bruschetta Pomodoro. The bruschetta is one of the best bruschetta I've ever had. It's the only place I've been to that had a soft bread paired with tomatoes and arugula. I was genuinely surprised by how much I loved it even though it is so simple.

For my entree I got the Beef Tartare burger and it was heavenly. It was what you would expect (I forgot to take a picture of it). It was kind of flat looking but the flavors were exceptional. It was soft and flavorful, and paired with a great chili mayo sauce.

I recently visited a restaurant that I cannot stop raving about! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the atmosphere - it was warm, inviting, and had a great energy.

The food was absolutely amazing - every dish we ordered was not only beautifully presented, but also bursting with flavor. It was clear that a lot of care went into each and every dish. The menu had a good variety of options, and there was something for everyone.

But what really made the experience stand out was the staff. The waiters were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout the entire meal.

We were served by Joyce herself and the service was impeccable. We treated with a friendly talkative manner but we’re provided plenty of privacy with our meal. The food was fantastic, skilfully made and beautifully presented. The vegetarian options were slightly lacking although the ones available were lovely, we had the risotto which could have been a bit more balanced as it ended up being slightly over powering. the point steak was tender and beautiful. The steak wasn’t massively seasoned but the seasoning came with the sauces (a rosemary butter and a classic Jus). I will certainly be returning.
