Came here last night after arriving late to Vienna and just wanting something nearby our accommodation with some good, authentic, local food - Kolonitz Biesel did not disappoint!
The restaurant was packed when we arrived, and the only server was apologetic that they only accepted cash, didn’t have an English menu, the kitchen was backed up, and she only had a small table for us in a back - all of which we told her we were completely fine with. Read moreI was unfortunate enough to have this restaurant suggested to me. Upon arrival there were three tables taken and the rest (more than 10) were empty. We asked if we could be seated and their answer was "we cannot serve you as we are full at the moment". No tables were reserved and we arrived well before the time of the kitchen closing (at least 2 hours before). A couple that arrived right after us asked if they could be seated with no reservation and they were immediately pleasantly escorted to the far corner of the restaurant .The attitude of the staff was horrible and i wouldn't in my right mind suggest this place.
