If a Hilton corporate secret shopper was in my shoes, this restaurant would not pass at least one checkpoint. The hostess is not welcoming, she works at two desks, from the hotel access and then the main entrance. She didn't provide a menu when invited to the table. We were sitting for a few minutes without it. The server then entered a "game". He gave a menu, but didn't offer a drink menu. After we asked about the local beer, he mumbled some types of beer they had, but still didn't offer a separate menu. Another server highlight from my observation. He was talking about bill details with customers right next to another full table. It's so unprofessional, and serious training should be done, because if you have to talk with guests about something, you just take them aside, and half of the restaurant should not be listening. The food - we waited for over 25 minutes. The restaurant was not busy at all, omg, how long do people wait for when it's a full house?! I have a feeling that the server just forgot about bringing the dishes, but in any way, you should at least communicate to your guests, not passing by over and over. Dishes were not delicious, just okay. and "the cherry on top" is a bill! The dish I ordered had sides for separate prices, I was never confirmed about those sides by the server. He just brought it all, and after waiting for so long I was just hungry and didn't even think about asking "why". Anyway, it increased the price from €28 to €37🤦🏻♀️ And by the way, we had to ask some other guys to bring us a check, because ours was just running around and not paying attention to our signals. So far the worst hotel restaurant in...
Read moreWe went here for dinner and were looking forward to a nice meal, but I have to say we were fairly disappointed.
First, the way you order the food is a little strange for a "nice" restaurant with ordering your protein, side, and sauce for the protein all separately. They don't recommend a sauce to match the protein you choose, which seems very odd. The fact that you have to pay extra for the sauce just seems very nickel and dime and not very welcoming.
The service was lackluster. When we sat down they wanted to take our order within the first two minutes, before we even had a chance to review the menu. We asked for a few more minutes and the server was no where to be seen for another 15 minutes, which was an extreme reaction to our request for a few minutes. When the food was served they brought out the plates for three of the four of our party and we patiently waited for the fourth before we could begin eating. The servers were again unseen for about 7 minutes and they informed us that they had forgotten to put the order in for the fourth person. During our meal, we would have enjoyed a second glass of wine because of the extended time we were there, but again, no sight of the service to put in an order.
The taste of the food was pretty good, but we ordered a pork chop and the duck breast, which required a steak knife to cut. We requested a knife and were only provided a butter knife. What is this? One of our party was a vegetarian and he ordered the cauliflower "steak," and was disappointed that it was nothing special, just a half a head of cauliflower.

Read moreLenz certainly made a strong first impression. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a great atmosphere, and our group of five was excited to try it out.
We choose for the Lenz Experience menu at €65 per person. Overall, the food was had enough variety and a good taste. However, the shared plates presented a bit of a logistical challenge. Dishes like the shrimp, meat, and salmon arrived in quantities of four, making it awkward to divide fairly amongst five people.
Furthermore, the descriptions of the dishes weren't always accurate. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite match the quality of the food. We experienced significant delays between courses, and the staff was slow to clear used plates and glasses – sometimes not clearing them at all. Even the coffee we ordered with dessert arrived after we had already finished eating, and even then, not everyone received their order at the same time.
The concept itself was good but there is a lot of room for improvement to make it a great ‘’Lenz’’ Experience. Now we were a bit disappointed and expected more for roughly...
