McDonald's, once a beacon of convenience and affordability, now falls short in several key aspects. The decision to eliminate straws may align with environmental goals, but it inconveniences customers and detracts from the overall experience. Furthermore, the introduction of a charge for restroom use feels exploitative and contradicts the notion of hospitality that fast-food chains should uphold. The decline in customer service is alarming. The staff's demeanor, marked by unfriendliness, reflects poorly on the brand and creates a negative atmosphere for patrons. It's disheartening to witness such a departure from the once-friendly service McDonald's was known for.Adding insult to injury, prices have surged, further alienating budget-conscious customers. While inflation is a reality for businesses, McDonald's should strive to balance profitability with maintaining its reputation for affordability.Despite these setbacks, McDonald's still retains some redeeming qualities. Its menu variety and consistency in food quality remain appealing to many. However, unless these issues are addressed, the allure of McDonald's may continue to wane, driving customers to seek alternatives that offer better value...
Read moreI found a frog in my salad!!!
When I told the manager about it, first he didn't spoke English, but then he took the salad and hide it away immediately. Then he apologized and asked me to choose one free item.. which is the very least he could do but I was wondering what else I would find in the food!!?? I used to work in food company and in this situation I would propose to reimburse the customer before proposing another "damage" product.
But not only he did that, he just blamed the supplier about this, and said he'll report it to MacDonald's... by mail... I mean, shouldn't they recall the food or something!?!? They have a lot number and the salad was made this morning... What if someone doesn't pay attention and eat it accidentally???
This kind of behavior is really dramatic and I'm glad I took a picture to prove it!!
I would expect a better quality food control in a country such as Austria.
Hope this help...
Read moreNo vegan burger available, only veggie. No detailed product information accessible (e.g. ingredients/allergens) during ordering process via screen, no suggestion to add ketchup with fries - it costs 50c extra!! Everything wrapped in packaging & plastics. There was a piece of paper in my cup that didn’t belong there, so they gave me a new one. The veggie burger wasn’t really tasty, but the fries were. It’s noisy with beeping sounds and and dirty... ALL of the above probably goes for every McDonalds I guess, so usually I try to completely avoid these places - now again I know why. Service was quite friendly though, that’s what the 2nd star is for!
