everything was okayish until I was charged for extras. 2 euros aren't much but it's not worth it at all! when I say extras it means chilli sauce, 2 slices of lemon, ice, and condensed milk. here is why this restaurant deserves 2 stars. aside from condensed milk for my order of Vietnamese coffee (which was served so poorly and nowhere closes to Vietnamese milk coffee and I'll rant about it later), how can they charge for lemon and chilli sauce in a Vietnamese restaurant? They're supposed to give you all that for free because it's a must have on any table, especially when you order Pho Soup! As a Vietnamese, I didn't expect much from their quality of food here. from my experience of having tried so many Pho around Europe, I can tell their Pho is just adequate and does not even has the real taste of Pho, but I'm from Saigon and I love Pho so I'm easily satisfied when it comes to Pho, our holy traditional food. Telling you guys this so you can understand my neutral rating of their food. But come on, don't serve Vietnamese coffee if you can't make it properly. for a tiny spoon of condensed milk and 50ml of coffee, you cannot charge 3.5 euros for that drink. it's purely ridiculous and overcharged. so dissapointed with their drink, and if you have a sweet tooth like me you have to ask for more condensed milk otherwise it's nothing like our traditional coffee but a plain cup of espresso. When I go to any restaurant, I don't like to ask for any extras because I don't like to cause many troubles for waiters. But here everything was missing, to the extreme, and I had to ask for more milk. If they're going to charge me for extra milk, they should have told me ahead, even though still it's unacceptable with the poor quality of their drink. I had to asked for more milk, and since the coffee was so little and strong, I had to ask for ice. it took me 10 minutes to make a proper Vietnamese coffee on my own and it shouldn't be my job. the second time I asked for extra, they told me it's okay whatever sugar or condensed milk, so I asked for condensed milk of course. what if I asked for sugar, they would still have charged me? 2 euros is nothing but it tells you about their mindset of doing business and the way they serve Vietnamese food and drink here. it's sad because this is my first ever review on Google Maps. If you're not Vietnamese or Asian asking for better quality of food, then it's very ok here, otherwise you can go...
Read moreIt's a very decent Vietnamese/Asian fusion restaurant. I thought menu choices are very diverse, so everyone should be able to find something to eat here.
It was only a block away from our pension when we stayed in Vienna. It was located between our pension and the nearest subway station (Sieglergassse Station on Orange Line), so we passed by it every time we took subway to travel around Vienna (which we did a lot). At first it was just mere convenience, but since we really enjoyed their food, we went back for the second time.
Food tasted very good--every dish we ordered (photos). Very good service by very nice/friendly staff. There is a curbside and pedestrian walk dining area, but interior was nicely decorated (photo). I thought dishes were reasonably priced especially for Vienna.
When we returned for the second time, the owner recognized us and treated us to his special Vietnamese (I didn't even think they grew coffee in Vietnam??) cold brew after our meal. That was super nice of him. We found out from him that there are now three locations of tatas in Vienna, so he's doing really well in his business. This was the original one we ate at. Highly recommended if you're...

A fair assortment of vegan options. Nice food but not the greatest a la carte eating. Some times the vegetables have been over-cooked (soft) and overly sauced/oiled. They do often have a neat mix with fresh sprouts or salad too, which is appreciated. Recommendable despite this, since portions are generous, price okay and maybe your particular taste leans more towards their style.
In any case, they serve some very nice spring and summer rolls. Worth going just for a snack of those.
Staff experience is different. Some quite in a "don't care about you mood" while others are very accommodating, happy and gives you a good experience. Just be nice and smile back yourself, and it will be all fine ;)
GO FOR LUNCH! Then the price is very nice for what you get...
