Seems a bit strange to travel to Vienna then end up in a Peruvian restaurant! However their menu looked interesting and my wife and I had been on holiday in Peru just a couple of weeks before being in Vienna. Mein Besuch im Salonga hinterliess gemischte Eindrücke. Zunächst fiel auf, dass das Inka Kola im Offenausschank ohne Kohlensäure serviert wurde, was leider die Erwartungen beeinträchtigte. Die Preise vor Ort unterschieden sich leicht von denen auf der Website und schienen etwas höher zu liegen. Die Empanada war mit 9.50 Euro eher teuer und erschien mir nicht besonders preiswert.

Auf der positiven Seite konnte die Causa überzeugen – sie war schmackhaft und empfehlenswert. Leider fehlte es dem Aji de Gallina etwas an Geschmack, was schade war. Das Lomo Saltado hingegen war würzig und meiner Meinung nach das Highlight der Speisekarte, obwohl es auch das teuerste Gericht war.
