Everything about this place is 5 stars. I’ve been in many cocktail bars around the world, with amazing views, creative cocktails and all sorts of wizardry but they’re always just overcompensating for the price/place/service… But the social club is hands down the definition of a great cocktail bar.

The bartender(s) are probably the nicest people I’ve ever met, their service standards exceed pretty much everywhere I’ve ever been.

It’s also so unpretentious but so boujee at the same time - I’ve never been anywhere quite like it.

It could be completely empty or packed and you’re treated like a VIP. Complimentary shots come round occasionally, they’re always excellent. The music is so on point and really makes the vibe.

You’re getting excellent value for money, it’s around €12 EUR per cocktail, generous pours and if you ask, they will make it even if they don’t know the drink. Nothing is a problem for the team here.

Dogs are very well catered to as well with some great treats for them.

I’ve just been for the last time as I’m leaving Vienna and I’m genuinely devastated I won’t be able to come back here. I wish I’d discovered this place sooner when we moved here. Don’t make the same mistake as me.

If you want to be transported back to a classy, professional, non-prententious kind of lounge with a speakeasy kind of vibe, this is it. Also, introduce yourself to "Salle" who was bartending that night, he's better than anyone I've seen in years (I lived in L.A. and Vegas.)
