SoulPizza — Restaurant in Vienna

Pizza was great. I went alone and asked for a table for 1. There were a few sidewalk tables available but she said they were for two people. I don’t speak much of the language and my friend that usually translates for me on vacation was sick in the hotel. I’ve been to Austria many times so I know the culture. The waitress was not nice to the point that a German speaking couple that was next to me was telling me what she was saying to them when she walked away. I could have had 15 drinks there and more pizza but man the service was out of their way rude because I spoke English. If you’re coming here come with a local or make friends with the table next to you so they enlighten you and tell you that the waitstaff went out of their way to try to get you to leave. In my opinion not worth the food to be treated like dog shit. You can find better. Atmosphere and kindness isn’t worth...

We had the fortune of stumbling upon the freshly opened and very relaxed Soul Pizza this evening. A welcome addition to the Gumpen village. Recently in life it often feels like a daring manoeuvre to walk in to a new restaurant without any background reading. In this case, we found a local pizza joint that we treasure and we will "empfehl" this one "weiter". Minimal deco with calm tones and pleasant lighting. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the pizza is a dream. The music is soulful and will have you singing along to familiar tunes that sooth your spirit. Now to the food, wonderfully tasty dough cooked to perfection topped with ingredients that are prepared and placed with love. Add this place to your list, like us I am sure you will be back again and telling everyone about your new found...

I had a solo trip in Vienna about a month ago and i just got some flashbacks from this place and i really miss the ambiance! The pizza the service the atmosphere were all so nice. I thought they would have card so i didnt brung enough cash with me only to later realize that they didnt have card… I couldnt pay for everything but they said it woukd be okay. But now reminiscing back on that moment i wish i went back to my hostel and gave them the full amount ( i was missing roughly 2€ but still) also the blond service guy working there was so nice and hot. I wish i had the courage to ask to hangout later but i didnt at the time. Can someone maybe drop his ig? So yeah long story short this place gives me a bitter sweet feeling...
