Ströck - Am Stadtpark — Restaurant in Vienna

Strongly do not recommend this place, starting from two order lines inside - you can stand for 5 min without any result as the person from the first line stopped taking orders. I ordered scrumble eggs on toast (egg was from powder) and coffee on soya milk - the taste was wierd, chemical. My friend ordered the same - after she paid for the meal she was advided that its nor possible to fulfill the order due to lack of vegatables (I had 2 cherry tomatos next to my tost). She was offered with extra egg instead - she denied. Lady that took her order claimed that it is not possible to return money or give her sht else instad. She ashed for manager who was able to give her different product and paid the difference in cash. Noone reacted or said sorry for inconvenience. As the food and coffee was not eatable you should definitely ommit that place! Waste of money...

This Ströck Bakery-Café is one of my favorites in Vienna, since it is located at the Stadtpark, right next to The Mall @ Wien-Mitte, one of Vienna’s main traffic hubs and it’s location on the opposite of the Vienna Hilton let you soak up the evening sun. The products of the Ströck are yummy and reasonable in price and the seating is comfy. the staff is friendly and it’s self-service here. Given the Ströck is a bakery-café this place has lots of atmosphere, where you can even spend a while to deliberate where to go next in Vienna and which of the many landmarks you wanna see next in lovely Vienna.

I had a croissant and a Kleiner Brauner coffee, one of this specialities of Vienna’s world of coffee. A yummy combination by the way.

After getting off at Wien Mitte station, we found this place by chance as a good option for breakfast. I found the prices to be average for Austria. Our sandwiches were good, but one of them had an extremely pungent onion, which we think was chive. It made our eyes water. As tourists, that taste wasn’t really suitable for us. I found the Americano portion unusually small, while the latte portion was unusually large. As a tourist, this seemed interesting to me. Apart from these, the ambiance was pleasant.
