I didn’t come expecting to have authentic American food, because we aren’t in the US, but this spot came relatively close! When we got there an hour before close they told us they didn’t have any burgers left, that was okay I’ll try one next time. We got two shakes and an order of the corn dogs. The shakes were a bit disappointed, they were not made with ice cream or frozen shake mix but instead I think just milk and maybe some heavy cream. The flavors were good though I quite enjoyed the cinnamon roll and the strawberry flavors, but to put it plainly we were drinking strawberry-flavored milk instead of a strawberry shake. The corn dog has a great flavor too, but the batter was too thick it should be a bit lighter (add a touch of baking powder) to give you the fluffiness it needs. Everything was nice though and our server was very kind.

The vibe of the diner is very tasteful, like a 50s style diner and I love that you can smell and see the cook preparing the dishes. It is very foreigner-centric but a great place to hangout for anyone looking for a casual bite to eat.

*I am a professional chef and wouldn’t mind offering some private menu consultation for you to achieve that authentic...

Teddy's has the classic diner feel of am American Burger bar with equally large portions that will invoke jaw aches before you finish your plate.

While initially the quirky restaurant has the feel nailed down, the menu seems to be surprisingly limited, if eating with friends who might be vegan or vegetarian they will struggle to find anything other than salad to enjoy.

The milkshakes didn't appear to have any ice cream but seemed pricey for what is nesquik. Food was tasty and as mentioned the sizes all seemed to be large, heavy and wasteful. Only because it's an American Diner doesn't mean to suggest the portions need to be (unless you're super hungry).

Staff were super friendly and while it might seem my review is negative, it just feels that Teddy's is targeting a very specific customer, which is a shame as it has the potential to be something very special mostly thanks to the staff and...

Finding Teddy's was such an unexpected treat! As someone from the diner capital of the world (NJ, USA) who's been living in Europe for years, this was such an awesome restaurant to visit and just feel comforted and nostalgic. The staff/service was fantastic and fast, and we got to chitchat with the owner (who was also working the kitchen). We had mozzarella sticks and fries with chocolate milkshakes (such classic diner fare). Everything was delicious--the chocolate milkshakes were a *tiny bit thin* but that's to be expected bc it's basically impossible to find American-style ice cream here, so no fault of the restaurant. I absolutely recommend visiting, whether you love diners or have never been to one and want to experience it without having to go to the US.

Teddy's American Diner is a nostalgic haven serving classic American comfort food in a retro-themed ambiance. With friendly service, generous portions, and familiar flavors, it's the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family. The restaurant enchants with its cozy and pleasant atmosphere, capturing the attention of guests and making them feel at home. With staff operating with exceptional efficiency and attention to detail, service is quick and seamless, without compromising on quality. But the true gem of the restaurant comes from the owner, who with a smile on their face, takes care of every guest, making each visit a genuine pleasure.
