URBAN´s Lounge Restaurant — Restaurant in Vienna

Summary What was supposed to be an enjoyable dining experience based on recommendations turned out to be a major disappointment. From inattentive service to poorly executed dishes and payment inconveniences, URBAN's Lounge Restaurant failed to deliver on nearly every aspect of the dining experience.

Atmosphere & Service The service was notably subpar. We had to request plates three separate times before finally receiving them, which is a basic dining necessity that shouldn't require multiple requests. The final straw came when, after asking for our bill four times, the waiter informed us they didn't accept card payments—forcing us to find an ATM. This information should have been disclosed at the beginning of our meal or clearly stated on their menu.

Food The meal began with a starter that was admittedly pleasant, providing a false hope for what was to follow. Unfortunately, the main courses were where the experience truly deteriorated:

Spring Pizza: Arrived unsliced (requiring us to repeatedly ask for plates) and was disproportionately loaded with vegetables while severely lacking cheese. The balance of toppings was completely off, resulting in a soggy, unappetizing dish.

Truffle Linguine: This dish was problematic on multiple levels—served cold, completely unseasoned (zero salt), overwhelmed with excessive mashed truffle, and accompanied by a basil sauce that was simply terrible. The pasta appeared to be technically cooked but was rendered inedible by the poor execution and flavor combinations.

Value Given the quality of food and service received, the meal represented poor value regardless of price point. The recommendation that led us to this establishment was clearly misguided.

Conclusion URBAN's Lounge Restaurant fails to deliver on the basics of restaurant hospitality. The combination of inattentive service, poorly executed dishes, and payment inconveniences makes it difficult to recommend this establishment to anyone. There are far better dining options in Vienna that deserve your time and money.

My wife and I went for dinner tonight and ordered the following items: A glass of Zero Coke, a glass of apple juice, a small ceser salad for starter, a salmon for my wife and a urban burger for myself. After a few minutes time I was given a big bowl of ceser salad. When I told them that I only ordered a small salad as I already ordered a burger as the main meal. Rather than accepting their mistake that they told me they don't do any small ceser salad. This is not true and you can see it's in their menu. Also, my wife was given something like lasagna although she ordered salmon. When she tried to taste her food another waitress came running and grabbed her plate and gave it to the gentleman who was in the next table. We are on holiday and didn't want to make any fuss as my wife got her salmon later. When I asked the bill they told me it was €59 and just showed the bill on the waitress's phone. Also, told me that no tips have been added to the bill. When I tried to pay with my credit card then I was told that they only accept cash. So, I paid €65 in cash including €6 as tips. On my way to the hotel, I thought that something was not correct as the calculated the bill it came to less than €50. Although, the food was tasty the service was very poor. Wouldn't go near that restaurant again. By the way, they don't provide either paper menu or bill. This will help the environment but not the customer as no evidence when...

I don't know you guys remember us, I and my friend experienced best moment that I had in Austria :) special thanks for the lady staff ^^ 4 days ago, we went the restaurant, and it was quite early time before open (about 30 minuites ealrier). Moreover, we were the only guests who visits the restaurant. We didn't recognized that so we was about to say sorry politly and go out the door. but the lady staff smiled and said it's okay so have a sit and please wait for a while. Soon, she gave us liquor we ordered first and we wait for the dishes happly. And we had dishes (they were Hawaiian pizza and their signiture hambuger) and they are really great ^^. Because of lack of cash, we wanted to pay them with card, of course with some tips. But she smiled and said 'you can't give a tip by card because the price is automatically fixed without tips. You don't need to give a tip. thank you for your mind ' in spite of what she said, we can't help to show appreciation for her kindness so we gave her tips, searching coins from the bottom of our poket.
