Vinogin Bar — Restaurant in Vienna

The best gin place for gin lovers, ando for all those who wish to taste something different. We stumbled upond this bar, about 50m from our hotel during our weekend in Vienna, and as I am fond of gin, we decided to go in. We were welcomed by two lovely ladies with whom we spent a couple of hours sharing our knowledge and passion for gin (and by god, do they have knowledge !). We went in for a drink, we stayed for 3 (and only because the bar had to close). Based on our tastes and curiosities they recommended us gins we had never heard of before. We tasted 5, we liked 2 of them, and LOVED the 3 others (we left with 3 bottles to extend our collection). If you like gin and happen to be in Vienna, I could not recommend a better place to go. Ok the beer and wine is fairly reaonsably priced and decent enough quality and they have a decent selection of gins and spirits (I mean they should, they are a gin bar), atmosphere was ok. Shame the service lets them down. We asked can you pay by card and they replied yes. So when it came to pay the bill which was 8.60 they decided then to say it was a 10euro minimum card spend. I appreciate if we had not asked about card then they might have had a point but we had. The waitresses attitude was shocking and god knows how she ended up in customer service. This place is a dream come true if you love gin and appreciate a low key bar. Their gin list is amazing, the vibe is very relaxed, a great place to chat and taste amazing, rare alcohol.
