JazzBaku — Restaurant in Baku City

Really good music but the waiter added a random 25% onto the bill when putting the amount in the card machine and put my friend and I on the spot. We immediately agreed as we did not quite understand and were very tired but then realised that the tip he had added was actually 25%, it was too late and he said “I asked you and you said ok”. While we should have realised and said no, I think it’s pretty out of order that they would suggest a 25% tip and put you on the spot like this. Music was very good BUT did not appreciate the sneaky way to get the tip at all. Buyer beware!!! What a shame as well because the music was great. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, with that classic jazzy charm that immediately puts you at ease. Every detail, from the lighting to the decor, made it feel like a little escape from the outside world.

Jazz Baku was the most high-quality and enjoyable venue I visited with my friends in Baku. The food, presentation, flavor, and staff were all fantastic.
