LaQuzu — Restaurant in Baku City

First of all , we are the members of Gastronomic Society and we write always good reviews where we can, because we have hotels and restaurants back in home , we know how difficult it is to operate a restaurant .

Food : -We ordered Kuku, the greens were not washed in a proper way , they served it with earth in it . ( look at photo). -Tandir was supposed to be hot , it came cold . We ordered breakfast set : items did not come , waiter is sloooow , they are throwing food on table -Now we are still waiting at restaurant for 2 hour -ordered COLD milk for a child , waiter bring us hot and said he can not make cold milk ! ( how itis even possible ) Service. -extra slow , not helpful , every problem we shared ( incl. not washed greens) was not solved in a hour at least - they just say we have this kind only 😅 or was solved with manager . It is like the worst place in Baku we visited For this PRICE for sure NOT VISIT it , you better go to Gaynana or Salam Baku After all this mess , waiter Rafiq came and apologised. Thanks to him he is adequate one here . Anar is helpful as well . Atmosphere is beautiful.

So if you don’t mind the quality of food , servise , and mind only atmosphere - you have to visit it . But think twice , really . I bet there are much better places to visit...

I had the pleasure of dining at LaQuzu in Old Town Baku last year few times and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The Lamb Saj dish was undoubtedly the highlight of my meal. The lamb was cooked to perfection, and the dish was bursting with flavor. It was an unforgettable culinary experience.

The outdoor seating area was also fantastic. The garden was beautiful and provided a serene ambiance that made me forget that I was in the heart of the city. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal.

The service was attentive and efficient. The staff made me feel welcome and were always on hand to assist with any requests I had. The only slight downside was that the restaurant was quite busy, so the service could be a bit slow at times.

Overall, I highly recommend LaQuzu to anyone looking for an excellent meal and a beautiful outdoor setting. The Lamb Saj dish alone is worth a visit, and the garden seating area is a perfect place to unwind...
