Pizza Locale Baku — Restaurant in Baku City

Superb thin crust pizza. İ ordered a large mushroom pizza. İ was impressed by the overwhelming amount of mushrooms on the pizza. Mushrooms were fresh. Pizza came with an adequate amount of cheese. Pizza did not have pilate (tomato) sauce, which İ am a fan of. Notwitstanding, the pizza tasted fine. Still a decent value for money priced now at 17, rather 16.5 manat, but with a 5% service fee, so the total is now 17.85 manat. Instructing him to keep the change, I gave the waiter an even 20 manat - he deserved it. A "large" pizza had been veritably large at this venue, but, since my previous visit about six month's ago, the "large" pizza is now smaller and is better characterized as a medium-size pizza. (The so-called "large" pizza currently on offer is too small to fill a man's stomach for supper although it would be enough for the average woman or two preteen kids.) For this "shrinkflation," I have downgraded the rating of this establishment by one star since my previous visit. I would recommend a man to order two "large" pizzas here or go down Xaqani to the shawarma shop and get two large meat shawarma with lavash for 7.5 manat each - that is what I did!) Dining area, while not small, is of modest size with an informal atmosphere prevailing. An unpretentious place. Good service with multilingual wait-staff. I recently visited “Pizza Locale” and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with charming decor that made it feel cozy. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt welcomed throughout our meal.

I was visiting Baku for a few weeks and ate here three times because the experience was so positive. I had both the eggplant and the Ricotta pizzas which were thin but not too thin, and fresh. The homemade spicy green sauce was a phenomenal add on to the pizzas. I also had the chicken tenders and fries which were surprisingly well seasoned and crispy. Friendly service....
