Yumi at Sheraton, perched on the 27th floor, offers a dining experience that combines stunning views with culinary excellence. The ambiance is sophisticated yet inviting, with sleek decor and warm lighting that create a perfect backdrop for a memorable meal.
The menu shines with its diverse offerings. The sushi was impeccably fresh, each piece bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The dumplings were a delightful surprise—perfectly steamed, with a delicate balance of textures and savory fillings. The tomahawk steak, cooked to perfection, was juicy, tender, and packed with rich, meaty depth, making it a standout dish. The accompanying rice was fragrant and fluffy, complementing the bold flavors of the main courses. For dessert, the fondant with ice cream was divine—warm, gooey chocolate paired with creamy, cool ice cream, a heavenly finish to the meal.
The service (from Tareq) was exceptional, attentive staff who anticipated our needs and ensured every moment felt special. From the warm welcome to the seamless flow of dishes, their professionalism elevated the experience.

Read moreTried Yumi restaurant inside Sheraton Dhaka without having to break a bank.
Their Ebisu course is made for business lunches so available only on weekdays between 12-3.30pm.
It’s a 3 course meal; salad, appetizer and main but they do provide complimentary miso soup and a welcome drink which is the size of a full fledged large drink.
You have the option of mixing and matching so since 3 of us went we pretty much tried most of their dishes. Highlight were the salmon skin salad, teriyaki salmon, chicken skewer with spring onion for me. The fish came with rice which made it a light and perfect meal. I also really enjoyed the chicken katsu donburi.
Highly recommend adding on the matcha creme brûlée. While we did complain that it needed to be set a bit longer, the taste was bang on.

Read moreBest Japanese restaurant in Dhaka. However, I have to say menu is mixed with authentic Japanese and some alternative ones. As for Sashimi, Yumi must be best in Dhaka. Raw fish items are better than those of Izumi or any other Japanese restaurants in Dhaka. On the other hand, there are some non-Japanese cuisines as well. Teppanyaki is enjoyable especially for kids and those with family members. Service quality is very high and almost all the staffs are gentle enough. The price range is very high and you have to be ready to spend at least 10k taka per person in case of dinner. If you take alcoholic drink with you, you need to pay 1.5k taka per bottle of wines, shochu, sake etc., and 2.5k taka for hard liquors. For beer, it's free. Please make sure to inform when you go with...
