⭐☆☆☆☆ Worst Hotel Experience – Hidden Charges and Dirty Room at West Park Inn Banani

I had a terrible stay at West Park Inn Hotel, Banani and would not recommend it to anyone.

First of all, they charged me 1,000 BDT just for early check-in, without informing me beforehand. It felt like a cheap way to squeeze extra money from guests.

Then I got to the room — absolutely filthy. The floor was dusty, the bedsheets didn’t feel fresh, and worst of all, there was a mouse trap left in plain sight in the room! I can’t believe a hotel in a prime area like Banani has this kind of pest issue.

To top it off, the TV remote was broken, and when I asked for help, the staff seemed indifferent and uninterested. Clearly, customer service is not a priority here.

I strongly advise avoiding this place. It’s not worth the money, and you’ll likely leave frustrated and disappointed like I did. Spend your money somewhere cleaner, more honest, and...

Not a very pleasant experience. We arrived after a long flight very early morning. We had told them at the time of booking our arrival time and they had acknowledged it as well. However, when we arrived, the doors were locked? And we had to wait for someone to come. They initially gave us a room with 1 bed even though we paid for two beds. Eventually they gave us the room, but then said we had to pay extra. I told them the reservation was for two beds and then they backed off. And then we had to pay for taxes which seemed a bit sketchy and was pretty expensive at over $20. The room itself was pretty dirty with patchy wifi. I would say it's def not a 4 star hotel. Well, to be honest, the facilities of this hotel aren't very charming or anything like that. Some parts of the room were broken. Even the door lock didn't seem safe to me. But the staff of this hotel were supportive. If you're on a quick trip and don't care much about the condition of the room, this hotel will be well suited for you. And also there are restaurants and other eating places near this hotel so you don't have to worry about food. Overall, I was somewhat satisfied during my stay at this place.
