We really enjoyed the high tea in this lovely tea-room/bakery. It is situated in a beautiful old charming house in a cozy shopping area of Antwerp, The food was delicious and fresh, and the amount was surely sufficient for the 4 of us (we were 2 couples, and each couple got a 3-level pastry tower). One of us didn't eat meat, and the owner immediately offered lovely replacements. Teas and coffees were served continously, and they served several types of teas. I gave 4 stars for the food as I found the scones a bit dry and hard, but they were still very good.
Our waitress, Isabelle, was really attentive and didn't miss a single empty cup. She was really polite and friendly. Thank you so much for the lovely service!
One less positive point: not everybody can sit on a comfortable sofa. The outer sitting places are poufs without back support. Not really easy for people with back problems. However, if you ask, they can provide a comfy chair with a back support.

Loaded with flavour and the lady sitting next to me both thought it tasted great. She was struggling because being sourdough, the crust was very tough to cut. My iced coffee was also good.
The two high tea rooms upstairs were amazing. Such details, original fixtures, luxurious settings. I would definitely go back for high to experience that.
In the main store area are all types of cakes and sweets. So much to see.
Next time in Antwerp I'm going to try...

I ended up toasting baguette to make it a bit more tasty…exactly what I do with cheap baguettes from supermarkets.
I am yet to find a great French traditional...
