We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant.
First, the staff gave us three extra teas by mistake, and we were told that these were complimentary. After drinking them, the staff returned to inform us that the tea was meant for another table and asked if we had consumed any. They insisted we pay for one of the teas, and they took away the remaining two, likely pouring them out, even though we had already started drinking from them.
Additionally, the staff was loud when sorting utensils like forks, knives, and chopsticks, creating a disruptive noise that lasted for some time.
Later, around 9:00 PM, one of the staff members left the door open for over 20 minutes to tidy up the tables, while there were still two tables eating. The cold draft made our food colder, and we felt uncomfortable during the rest of our meal.
As for the food, the boneless chicken was dry and nothing like authentic Korean chicken. It resembled more of a KFC-style dish. The Gimbap was also unappetizing, and they forgot to serve the beef with our beef Japchae, which they only brought to us after we had already started eating.
When it was time to pay, the manager left the bill at the till, and we had to ask another staff member to bring it to us.
At £80 for two people, the meal was not worth it. Overall, we won't...

Food-
Chicken Mandu - Great 4/5
Spicy Chili and Garlic Pepper Fried Chicken – 1/5 This dish was a major disappointment. When you see it on a Korean menu, you expect crispy fried chicken coated in a bold, spicy chili and garlic sauce. Instead, what arrived was just basic fried chicken, similar to KFC, with a light sprinkle of pepper and garlic—completely lacking the expected heat and flavor. To make it worse, it was served dry, without any sauce. Definitely not worth ordering if you’re looking for authentic Korean-style spicy fried chicken.
Orange Lemon Chicken- Decent 3/5 Korean Cheese Egg Roll- Decent 3/5 Chicken Gimbap Set- Okay 2.5/5 Kimchi- Decent 3/5
Overall, it’s worth a try, but the restaurant needs to update the menu descriptions so customers have a clearer idea of what to expect. Also, despite ordering dishes marked with 🌶️, nothing we tried was actually spicy or hot.
However, I’d be willing to give it another try since the menu offers a wide variety of dishes, and I’d love to explore...
Read moreBeautiful interior, average food, high prices, great staff. It's really a shame that the food does not live up to the standards of the interior and the dedicated staff. The prices are also too high. The fried chicken were disappointing. Having lived in Korea for many years, I think they got the chili sauce wrong. It's too sweet, the same with the garlic chicken. More chili, more garlic and more salt - less sugar. Maybe it's the classic mistake of not going for the authentic taste, thinking that Belgians won't like it. The kimbab was good, but also not authentic. It's a shame. If the place takes a second look at their recipes I think this place could...
