A 5 stars culinary experience in the heart of Antwerp
Nestled in the vibrant city centre of Antwerp, this restaurant is a true gastronomic delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was enchanted by its chic, modern and colorful design, which exuded a warm and welcoming ambiance. I would say ideal balance between sophistication and comfort, creating the setting for both casual and business meals. What sets this restaurant apart from others is its commitment to originality. The pizza recipes are unique, showcasing a creative fusion of flavors. The menu contains an extensive pizza selection, where creativity and authenticity come together in harmony, from classic Margherita to unique creations like Black Truffle, Bee Sting, Garden Pesto (it’s delicious) and options for vegetarian fans. I am a salad lover, so I savored the classic Caesar salad, with a unique twist and an authentic taste. The attention to detail in the plate is apparent, served promptly with a smile, which elevate the dining experience. Whether it's a casual lunch, a memorable dinner, or a business meal, inside the restaurant or on its cozy terrace, this place exceeds expectations on every level. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wishes to indulge in a unique...
Read moreRestaurants today are mathematical factories filled with procedures, fixed recipes, automation, online ordering systems and what not. Again I felt like this would be like the long line of new age restaurants that forgot that they serve human beings. When I made a reservation I was not planning to change my mind.
I caught them at a very busy moment. Working hard for all outgoing orders, they still had time to serve us with caramel-like staff that you can't find anywhere else. They placed some tables together for us, and served our drinks immediately. Our food did get delayed and they offered us extra drinks because of all the waiting. Honestly it did not feel long due to the romantic and artistic decoration style. Their open kitchen is a great addition to all the experience.

It was about letting us taste the quality which ponders in every chef's brain. And about all those little things around it.
I changed mind about those new age restaurants. Definitely...

pizza was way too expensive for the quality: it was way too greasy and thin, so I had to eat it with a fork because i could not pick up a slice. Only the taste was alright, but will never live up to the price.
The service was also meh, they did not speak Dutch and the waitress was not very friendly and a bit awkward. We ordered dipping sauces with the pizza and they did not come, we had to ask for them again.
I really liked the looks of the restaurant, it’s part of the reason why I made a reservation, but in person the restaurant had a lot of downsides. I really disliked the music that they were playing, which did not fit the vibe of the place and the chair and couch were in awkward positions, way too different in height which made eating uncomfortable.
I went to the toilet and noticed a warning inside, which said that the lock was “hard”. When I was done and tried to open the lock, I noticed what was wrong; I could almost not open it! I had to use both hands to firmly grip the lock to get the door to open, which I don’t have to explain is extremely unsafe.
My visit felt a bit like “happy italy” but much...
