Moana Pokébowls — Restaurant in Bruges

The service was truly disappointing. Two of three employees didn’t show any interest in their customers as the third even seemed to be annoyed by doing their job. A simple question like if they serve any cow milk alternative led the third employee to visible confusion as well as an unnecessary rude reaction instead of a simple “no”. The food was way too salty and I don’t even know where to start with the so called “bubble tea”. The person I was with got foamed milk without any tea in their bubble tea and the tapioka pearls seemed like they have been forgotten in a cup of tap water for way too long. My tea itself was fine - kinda meh but nothing to be concerned about. Different from the tapioka I got, which was melted into one big fluffy cluster and tasted like it has been served to somebody else before and like it wouldn’t get rejected for the first time (leaving out the fluffy pieces which were floating around). Having to pay 5.60€ for an atrocious drink as the one me and the person I was with got plus paying for a terrible service does not seem...

FR = J'ai tellement bien mangé dans ce restaurant que j'ai décidé de traduire mon avis dans les langues les plus utilisées dans le coin. La déco est superbe, le serpent géant, si on est bien placé, on a vraiment la sensation qu'on va se faire bouffer. Le personnel est très sympathique et prends en compte les petites remarques pour améliorer notre confort. En terme de nourriture, tout est juste parfait, les fruits et légumes sont super frais. Et pour y être allé 4 jours, on est pas tombé par hasard le seul jour où c'était frais. Ça fait un bien fou! Et le prix est très démocratique pour cette qualité, environ 15€ par personne (pour les gros mangeurs)!

Het decor is super, de reuzenslang, als je goed geplaatst bent, heb je echt het gevoel dat je opgegeten gaat worden. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en houdt rekening met de kleine opmerkingen om ons comfort te verbeteren. Qua eten is alles gewoon perfect, de groenten en fruit zijn super vers. En omdat we er 4 dagen zijn geweest, kwamen we niet de enige dag tegen dat het cool was. Het voelt waanzinnig goed! En de prijs is zeer democratisch voor deze kwaliteit, ongeveer 15 € per persoon (voor grote eters)!

On our second trip to Brugge, we were very excited to visit Moana Pokebowls again, because we loved it the first time we visited. But the staff was different this time and super hostile towards us as if we were a nuisance to them.

When we were done eating and wanted to pay at the counter, we were ignored for a good minute and after having paid, we didnt even get a "thanks" or "goodbye" at the end - we were just treated with silence.

Very rude behaviour, but honestly, I didnt expect anything else from looking at...
