My experience with this restaurant started off bad but had a very happy ending. We walked in there and the waiter suggested ,since we don’t have a booking, to come after an hour. We did come back and we both ordered a ribeye steak. Service was quick, however, that steak was not good at all. It was too hard to cut and even harder to chew. We both returned our orders and the waiter came to apologize again and asked if he could change the order on the house. Back then I wasn’t feeling like eating anymore and I just asked for the bill. What really made me happy is the honesty I experienced with all the staff as they are admitted that the steak was really not up to their standard and, unfortunately, the batch of meat we were served arrived on the same morning.
The senior waiter asked us to come next day, and we did. This time the steak was spot on, very lean and juicy cut of ribeye which was perfectly cooked (I like my steak medium rare). I will definitely visit this steak house again on my next visit to Brugge.
And I would advise to book prior to your visit especially on a Saturday as this place will...

Food - I order a t bone steak cooked to medium. It came out rare, almost blue. The fat hadn't been rendered properly, just a very quick flash on a grill. It arrived with blood on the plate. Side dishes were nice. My partner had chicken in mushroom sauce which was nice she said.
Service - I complained about the steak and got told that 15 had been sold that night and no complaints. I asked for reduction in price and got told it was my fault for not speaking up!!! Finally, I asked for the bill and attempted to just pay and get out quick. One waiter just wanted to argue and I told him that I wouldn't end my last night away in an argument. Went to the counter to pay and someone much more professional and calm spoke to me and apologised. He took some money off the bill.
We had looked forward to this meal since arrival in Bruges. Very sad way to end.
Maybe just a bad night as they were busy.... won't be returning...
Read moreLet me start by saying; I love Argentinian food, its restaurants and atmosphere. I’ve been to quite a few, therefore my review.
The restaurant is beautiful, very “Gaucho” nicely decorated. Table accessories go along with the whole vibe. I would recommend to play tango all night long instead of Mexican “rancheras” Bachata, and Salsa, (not the original songs of each genre)that threw me off a little.
Service was good, waiter was attentive.
Beer…you are in Belgium, it was awesome! The “Empanada” looked like a pastel and not like a real Argentinian Empanada, the carpaccio was decent, it lacked a little olive oil, but the carpaccio itself was tasty. I was writing the review as everything was getting to the table…The Picanha showed up and it changed the whole scenario, this was the main character of the night, it was absolutely delicious, the cut was incredible, tender, juicy, and yes, it will melt in your mouth. What a fantastic...
