Reading many posts about tourists not being welcome, well ... locals aren't either. Been there numerous times but our last experience was horrific. Reserved a table for three but didn't feel welcome from second one. We ordered three spagetti's and got one after 1/2 hour. When we inquired if there was a problem with the two other spagettis after another 1/2 hour, Hans threw his note on our table stating that we only ordered one, not three ! Strange, the table was prepared for three persons, just like we reserved. what happened next blew our minds: he started serving spagettis to another table rather than to correct his error. In the mean time I had started giving our 7 year old boy my spagetti. We then politely asked whether there was a problem to get the other spagettis, in which case we'd like to pay for what we did get, we were thrown out instead, in a rude way, together with the message not come back again, ever .... People sitting at the table next to us did confirm they heard us order 3 spagettis when we made our way out. It is sad to see how a person can fall so low, I can only hope that Hans realizes experiences like these are killing his business while it shouldn't. He has such a nice charming place on a great...
Read moreI will not go into the details of my visit due to the fact I will not give this sad man any info to try lie about, because I have seen him do that in all his replies to other people on other sites. All I will say is he was THE rudest establishment owner I have encountered in over 20 years of visiting them. Why he feels the need to be so needlessly rude to people when he can get his message across the same way without being so vile is astounding. It’s actually sad to see man of his age who has the emotional intelligence of a child. A man who has run a place for close to 30 years and apparently has always been this way. What I wonder is what happened in his life to make him so hostile to friendly people who only wanna support his business. It’s really sad, it reeks of nothing but insecurity and unhappiness. I can only imagine what his thoughts must be like when he is alone. You will have a lot of karma to answer for one day Hans, believe me on that. It’s the little acts of kindness we do in life that reverberate through this world. And you are spreading pure negativity. But it’s never too late to change. Take a look inside your soul...
Read moreAt first glance from the outside, it looks lovely. On the inside, it is dingy and dusty.
The guy (? owner..waiter - he didn't identify himself) cautiously watched us walk in, and immediately asked us if we had cash. Yes, of course we have cash, because we're traveling from overseas. Anyhow, he quickly pivoted to the fact that they do not take cards as payment, which is fine.
We soon walked out after finding a table (easy enough because only one table was occupied) because life is too short to sit somewhere where I'm obviously not welcomed. Maybe he was having a bad day; there are better ways of greeting people even if you're at your worst.
We don't plan to return and have zero regrets for walking out. After reading multiple bad reviews on here, it's obvious that this wasn't an...
